The problem is people think that particular free kick doesn’t get paid and its a ball up because they can’t tell the difference between a person held up with the ball trapped vs a player with an arm free that can get rid of it. They think they are all the same.
It was 100% correct and I have seen people ask why “X” wasn’t paid and when you see the footage it is not the same but they don’t get it.

no different to uneducated Freo supporters who boo. When they boo’d the tunnelling decision last week … what a disgrace! Dangerous as hell but 3/4 of the crowd boo’d it.
I wouldn’t throw rocks at any other club about boo’ing as its prevelant at every club. To think one club is worse is dumb.

I watched the video of the incident several times and he’s clearly gut punched him, Ginivan was in no way expecting the hit, it was behind play and Lachie was getting involved in someone elses issue. I’m a big fan of Neale, absolute class player, but a week would be the bare minimum. If anyone else, it would have been a couple of weeks, unless of course your with one of the so called “big” VFL clubs.

Personally speaking, Bazza, as a long-time Fitzroy supporter, the Brisbane Lions will never be the same as the club that I once followed with as much passion as I do East Perth.
I know many Fitzroy people have happily made the transition to Brisbane, but many like myself and OTO haven’t.
Given that the Brions are shooting for their sixth premiership this century, many might say “more fool you”, but when it comes to footy, you can’t manufacture passion.
