Will depend on whether the Dockers can handle the pressure of the occasion. Brisbane have been to the well for the last 3 years and will be comfortable. Freo will need to be brave and daring. No bombing into the forward 50. Jackson, Bolton and Cox can lead the way having played in premiership teams.

What a pity more games arent played like that Prelim Final just played, 39 goals kicked, fast electrifying footy just like the halcyon days of the 1980s.

Its a pity WAFL coaches dont allow this type of footy anymore instead of their defensive minded rubbish we get served up most weeks!

Have to say that was one of the best games I have seen in a very long time, what a game, speed, pressure, lead changes, right down to the last 2 minutes, high drama, and what about the goal kicking accuracy, 11.1 at one stage for Hawks, I mean some of those goals kicked from range direct through the centre were just incredible! The skills something else.

Really makes WAFL looks dull and was a massive step up from the dockers v swans game.

And yes, that was holding the ball at the end. Well done Lions , well deserved crack at the three peat.

Rarely seen these days , ugly crowd behaviour as bottles chucked at Umps by Hawks mob after the game.

Lions easy for mine.

Not sure about well deserved crack at a 3 peat mate…they coughed up a 28 point lead in that last quarter…and TBH, the consistent inconsistencies of the umps provided Brissie with that get out of jail opportunity…that sort of tackle happens multiple times all over the ground during a game…usually resulting in a ball up…not saying the decision was wrong, just no consistency with it.

TBH Freo on paper, match up better man for man, with Brisbane, then they do v Hawthorn. Brisbane will go in as favourites, their midfield is their biggest strength…Freo need to come out even in that contest, nullify Andrew’s up back, for that, Treacy needs a big game…and Jackson needs to capitalize on Fort’s lack of mobility around the ground.

Hard to see this game reaching the same standard or intensity as the Hawks v Brissie game last night, but should be a good contest none the less…well here’s hoping it will be…the last 2 finals have been one sided to say the least…especially after half time.

That free gets paid every day of the week. One arm holding the ball, the other is pinned by the tackler which takes handballing out of the equation, but the ball carrier can still kick it which he eventually did. A tough call on the Hawks but a correct one.

BC, not saying it was the wrong decision, just inconsistencies of the umps that frustrate folk not only in one game…but over multiple games during the season, that build up fans frustrations and emotions…but that’s footy.

I have no doubt if the shoe was the on the other foot, the Hawks fans would be screaming “ball”. It was an emotive last quarter, and whilst not condoned, I can see why the Hawks fans lost the plot…I have no doubt any other fans would be screaming unfair, if it was one of their players.

Massive news. Lachie Neale has been suspended for the Grand final for a gut punch on Ginnivan. Surely Brisbane will challenge the ban

The 3AW team have viewed the incident and they agree Neale should get off with a fine

AFL and Umps doing everything they can to get the dorks their first flag, lets just hope the umps don’t do a Western Bulldogs GF effort when they finally got up in that GF.

Well hawks almost pulled off a dockers like come back from the dead, but Lions had the experience stamina and skill to hang on that the Swans lacked. Cant see what you are saying about the Free it was a Holding the Ball every day of the week, the attempt he made to hide it was pretty hilarious, before deciding to drop it for a kick far too late, he simply didnt want to risk letting go of the ball with so many lions on the hunt so close to goal and paid the price. In consistency - I cant remember seeing one as blatant as that earlier in the game.

To make 3 GFs in a row, after losing to the Swans ( was that part of the plan) in what was a ripper tough Prelim. is well deserved crack at the triple.

Lions are odds on favourites with the bookies and for mine should be.

Pick yer Pub and cheer Wild for the Lions!

Go on!

I Dares ya!
