Having watched some of the Grand final yesterday, I don’t think Freo will be making too many changes next saturday. I mean Sharp is brilliant at WAFL level but there are too many of his type of player at the Dockers. O’Meara has also slipped down the pecking order, O’Driscolls disposal lets him down at times. Brandon Walker may have a chance of coming in if they want more run out of the backline and the other decision will involve a guy who didnt play yesterday, Brennan Cox.

I reckon Neale will get off. It’s a huge penalty for a whack to the guts. In fact, under any other circumstances, Neale should get a medal for hitting Ginnivan.

Neale hearing been going for 2 hours. I agree with BC, I reckon theres enough doubt in that grainy footage and missing a Grand Final is a massive price to pay. He’ll be downgraded to low impact and a fine IMO
As mike says, the footage was grainy, but to me Neale came up behind Ginnivan who didn’t see it coming. And it was out of play.
And they also said that it was retaliation for something done to one of Neale’s teammates, not Neale himself.

Didn’t Hipwood crunch Ginnavin legally…by legally, I mean atleast the ball was in play when Hipwood crunched Jackie…Lachie’s act sneaky and soft, no ball in sight, on the sly, from behind, a clayton’s king hit, only targeting the midriff, not the head…
Ban stands. Brisbane may take this to an appeals court as per a case involving Cripps in 2022. That was not a behind the play incident though
