Fremantle v Brisbane 2026 AFL Grand Final

he was dead serious … he said in WA its one or the other and I hope every Docker is supporting Collingwood. On the panel before the game started.

Oh well, you guys r**t for Brissie. If they Win,that gives them 6.2 more than West Coast.

7 should have been playing 5 Brissie Grand Finals, instead of worrying about a handful of funny fellows 20 years ago.Or was it Wings over Waverly?

:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

They could always replay the Freo GF on repeat … might do that myself.

2013

They weren’t too far off Winning it.

Luckily for Hawthorn, they woke up in the Final Quarter.

The consequences of dropping a second straight Grand Final, I’ve always believed would have been Severe!

They didn’t drop it and went on to greater things.

The problem for Neale is that he has been fined a few times for similar gut punches, so I guess the tribunal looked at that as repeated infringements that Neale has not learnt from.. my guess is he will have it downgraded tonight and will play Saturday.
The Sydney player who was permitted to play in the '05 GF was that big thug Barry Hall and you reckon that didn’t make a difference in a game decided by a couple of points?

Showers forecast for Saturdays GF, that wont help Freo. We saw how poorly they handled the wet against the high pressure brought by the Hawks. Hopefully they learn from that.

I agree with him on that, if East are in a GF, I always support who they are playing…

So in 2023 you supported the Freo affiliated Peel?..lol…that must of pained you Bazza…even more when EF won…

I think game was a total blank…:joy:

Appeal upheld. Neale can play. Fined $10,000

Neale cleared to play after appeal found tribunal made an error. Bugger :frowning:

Good to see the former Swan Districts midfielder Lachie Neale cleared to play :slightly_smiling_face:

AWFUL HOUSE happy to have a story or 2 drag out this week.

Just for that, more importantly,is Nathan Cleary 100% fit to play for the Panthers on Sunday?

I think the Panthers are ok this week even if Cleary is 75% right grassy

Yeah,should be.

Just having a retaliatory snip at AWFUL!

Former Swan Districts midfielder, Neale has previously been suspended 8 times in the AFL for various offences (including 3 for body punches) but never suspended.

What a joke. Why bother with a Tribunal?

Mate let’s hope Lachie the dog…on and off the park…gets his karma, and Freo wins…10k is like 50 bucks in this guy’s wallet…got no prob with some physical stuff with the ball in a contest…but this was puss weak by Neale, Ginnivan and the AFL…sums up the AFL in all honesty

Well considering the way EP and Cl rolled over v Peel in Peel’s last 2 GF wins…and how folk bleat on about the unfairness of it all with Peel’s AFL connections…thank fudge EF stepped up for the WAFL, and won the flag that year…no body else seems capable beating Peel in a GF of late.

I wouldn’t say East Perth rolled over.

They just hit a roadblock in the Final Quarter.

But Yes,you’re right about Claremont. There was just nothing from them last week.

Is that 6 Runners Up since their last Flag?

Yes, full credit to EF for beating Peel when they did, Freeze.

As ODB1 correctly said, EP hardly rolled over, with the deficit being only 10 points entering time-on of the last quarter before the Thunder stuck with a few late goals.

Suffice to say, Claremont was never in the race.
