Football manager needs to go next.

As per today’s West, WPFC President states the club is conducting an in-depth review of the football department administration. They have had 3 coaches in 5 years (the new coach will make it 4 in 5 years). They also have a number of senior players retiring at end of this season, which doesn’t help.
@The_Shiz heard Perth weren’t upset to see him leave Lathlain. WP have gone backwards over the last couple of seasons.
CEO should have been shown the door earlier.
4th coach in 5 seasons, 3 footy managers and 4 Physios in the same period.
Black, Nelson, Rotham retiring. Hearing the other Rotham, Knott and Kietel are considering their futures. WP seem to have the biggest injury list consistently with some of their A Graders in Pegoraro, Guadagnin, Johnson and Meadows missing significant parts or all of the season.
Who’s the next coach likely to be? Good luck to whoever takes the roll on - starting well behind the rest of the competition.
Apparently, he is sniffing around the East Perth Football Manager role.
Not sure which former Perth person you are referring to. Steve Armstrong has been director of coaching in 2026 at WP. Trevor Williams was our football manager before Brad Dodd and still see him regularly around Lathlain.
He was the Talent Manager at Perth prior to moving to West Perth. He was only at Perth for a short time
And who is he? Sounds like he left because he couldn’t identify any talent in the Perth zones. Yep no need for change there Ian.

Josh Rotham’s retirement just announced
Clinton Rudd has previously been the Reserves Coach, an Assistant League Coach and the League Runner at East Perth.

Rumour is the prez is calling it quits. Only been there 5 minutes. Does this open the door for the Teflon Don to return who slipped out the back door just before the invoice scandal emerged?

Heard the WP coach left pretty well straight after the game. Did not stay around for the 4 retiree’s celebration.
Something way off here particularly when you add it onto the sacking of their last years coach (an old club champion)
Now Rednblack should definitely listen in to WAFL World tomorrow night.
