Not sure if there are any Falcons supporters still monitoring this site but would be interested in your take on how the season has gone so far. Obviously it had been disappointing with no wins and bottom of the ladder but are there any signs that things could be on the improve and are the coaching staff getting the right balance in the mix of the young guys wirh experienced players? They probably should have at least 1 win if they hadnt kicked poorly against West Coast and they were competitive with Swans for the first half. Im sure they will bounce back I suppose the question is how long will it take?
Great timing,Mike.
Guess who they play next week?
Guess who their last victims were,…
No prizes for guessing where,…

Nah! 10 goal win to Perth
From my limited view I find it difficult how they are using some of their players, seems to be all about 37 and a few other players. Dropping Nelson seemed to be a hint that youth was going to be the pathway but did not seem to eventuate.
From a bit of a selfish point of view the use of Brooks has been puzzling, in most of the games I have watched he seems to be a tagging/blocking player and not utilising his skills and ability.
Totally agree grump, the use of Brooks hasn’t worked. Injuries are a problem at the club but in saying that it does give opportunity to the younger boys. It’s not about losing, it’s about how much you lose by, that’s the point. We have to win against Perth, we dont want to change the record books.
Looks like a tough year for the Falcons- especially if they lose Bevan in mid season draft.
There’s something not right at WP
From a League premiership in ’22, lack of wins in ‘24 but still more than competitive in nearly every game to now a side every team would expect to win against comfortably.
They’ve got a few injuries but nothing more than most other clubs and the list on paper looks reasonable.
The removal of Salecic last season was very poorly handled by the CEO and Board. A new coaching staff and other football staff and the results have slid further this season.
Hearing Bevan is a good chance to go in the MSD, possibly to WC which won’t help WP particularly if he lines up for WCER against WP
It certainly WON’T help if west coast only use him as a list filler, rather than seriously looking at him to step up for Immediate AFL League action.
As for the internal workings of West Perth,Jacob Landsmeer has commented 2 or 3 times about that.
Hope they give Paul time to work things through.Another sacking is simply unhelpful at this stage of West Perth’s Football.
