Apparently there is a real concern amongst the other clubs abt them being a basket case again and WAFC bailing them out yet again with a raft of concessions.
Much more of a real club than a a few of the other WAFL clubs. Come down and have a beer at the club on any Friday night or at our Sunday Sessions. Can’t do that at most of the other WAFL clubs. The bar is open every Friday night of the year . So come down and tell the members there on a Friday night that it is not a real club.
Not much point calling yourselves a football club when in fact all it is a social club. The point is without Freo you will go back to a being not very competitive on field once again and will only survive if you get WAFC concessions, Have a nice cold beer but not much chance of watching your team win! The saving grace is that there will only be a one horse race for the wooden spoon!

Maybe a good move toward being a real club will be to remove the Fremantle Reserves handle. But then again that move would not suit some.
To get rid of that tag they need to finish the alignment with the Dorks so they are a true standalone club, that will mean some very tough years ahead at the lower end of the table while they rebuild player stocks but at least some respect will come their way if they do that. They already have the coach of the century to guide them so thats a positive.

I’m sure he knows what Bex are - but not so sure he knows what “local beers” are, unless he is drinking Coopers. And I don’t pick him as a micro brewery, craft beer sort of guy.
