One thing to keep a SHARP Eye on this year.
Awaiting the 1st figures after the Easter Monday Public Holiday.
Supposedly should be way more accurate than recent history and attendance figures should be higher because as I witnessed when leaving the ground after the game the exit gates were locked and security directed us to exit through the entry gates and people were still being scanned in to watch the women’s game.
Traditionally from memory if you got there during the colts game entry was free. Not sure if there were people manning the gates to record the enteries.
Given they have electronic records it shouldn’t take long to put them up. Do they still accept cash? They were scanning our QR codes with a phone maybe they can register them as a cash payment on the same phone.

No Colts,so the Futures boys were the Curtain Raiser and I had to almost pinch myself to see no one at the Outer Gate.
So in I went.
And checked my name at the Main Gate when someone was there during the 2nd Half of the Futures,which I believe was there.

Not bad,so long as there isn’t a hole in the Netball Fence.
1664 at Lathlain? That seems very low was a very healthy crowd there but I suppose given only futures before and WAFLW following and being against the Canaries.
Probably add a couple of hundred more for the Futures,given no one was at the Gates until the 2nd Half of the Curtain Raiser.
What I find a little disappointing is,all those folk who jumped on,in the Finals weren’t around saturday.
We need for the Season folks,not just a few Finals Games.

Still no crowd figures for those 3 games last week at Basso, Leederville and Joondy. Piss poor, new technology working a treat.
Advise people going to away games to buy their tickets online in the INTIX app. Get a discount but most of it eaten up in service fees but just makes it easier to get in.

Once upon a Time,it took a day or 2 to tell us 26,760 Burst the Seams at Lotons’ one Saturday Afternoon.
That’s a pity about the leederville attendance lowest crowd i have ever seen for a swans east Perth game. The outer was empty no shade sitting in the sun all game and that’s our premier ground.
Who said Leederville was our premier ground?
It is one of the worst particularly when it rains.

I think Leederville, Perth Oval and Lathlain? all had cricket pitches originally, removed I think 60s?
Well, I know Perth Oval did. It was the original home of the North Perth Cricket Club before they moved to Charles Veryard Reserve and now Joondalup.
I know when my brother and I entered Lathlain on Sunday with our Intix barcodes at the ready they didn’t scan ‘em, they just looked at the barcode and said good to go (two different queues/attendants). I suspect they didn’t have any devices capable of scanning the barcodes.
So surely when they can’t do that,they perform 2 strokes of the pen,to record attendees manually?
Worsfold LAUGHABLY reckons they can Win a Flag by 2030.Equally LAUGHABLE is the fact they can’t seem to attract 1000 to a Home WAFL Game,with 100 000 Members on their Books.
Easily done as you say, but they did nowt.
