One thing to keep a SHARP Eye on this year.
Awaiting the 1st figures after the Easter Monday Public Holiday.
Supposedly should be way more accurate than recent history and attendance figures should be higher because as I witnessed when leaving the ground after the game the exit gates were locked and security directed us to exit through the entry gates and people were still being scanned in to watch the women’s game.
Traditionally from memory if you got there during the colts game entry was free. Not sure if there were people manning the gates to record the enteries.
Given they have electronic records it shouldn’t take long to put them up. Do they still accept cash? They were scanning our QR codes with a phone maybe they can register them as a cash payment on the same phone.

No Colts,so the Futures boys were the Curtain Raiser and I had to almost pinch myself to see no one at the Outer Gate.
So in I went.
And checked my name at the Main Gate when someone was there during the 2nd Half of the Futures,which I believe was there.
Ist figure released.

Not bad,so long as there isn’t a hole in the Netball Fence.
1664 at Lathlain? That seems very low was a very healthy crowd there but I suppose given only futures before and WAFLW following and being against the Canaries.
Probably add a couple of hundred more for the Futures,given no one was at the Gates until the 2nd Half of the Curtain Raiser.
What I find a little disappointing is,all those folk who jumped on,in the Finals weren’t around saturday.
We need for the Season folks,not just a few Finals Games.
