Not bad for a fomer Demons Ressies Player!
Well Done Mitch and the Best of Luck for the Rest of your NFL Career,CHAMP!
Maybe we could get him back when Matty Taylor hangs’em up Grassy and he can punt them to the centre circle.
Think his future post NFL is in another Windy City,Rednblack.
There is another lad born and bred from Perth coming through college ranks at the moment that should be on people’s radars. Young Alec Clark has the nickname “The Leg” in the US and doing well. Be great to see him get drafted after college.
Cheers for that info,Viper.
I think Oscar Bird is also in the US trying his luck as well.
Young Alec has just need named in his American conference team as the punter and is listed now at no 4 in the country for punters. Big chance to get drafted after college.
Tulane in Louisiana?
How many years before he can nominate?
I take it,he has to spend 3 years there?
I’m glad Mitch didn’t go to Brigham. He probably would have got a full rundown on the infamous Jim McMahon.
Then again,I guess everyone at Utah got wind of Jim anyway, especially his Battlestar Prophe…think you can figure out the rest.
Definitely Lead Balloon material with the University Chiefs there, amongst the other stuff levelled at Jim.
yeah he is currently Tulane but won the championship last year with the Thundering Herd and if you have seen the Marshall movie with Matt McConaghy you’d understand how good being drafted to the herd would have been.
You have to be out of high school for 3 years so technically I believe he could next draft but I guess it will depend on how he goes next year in NCAA footy. Not really a full bottle on the technical rules with their draft.
No,neither am I.
Some of the stories on whom Franchises pass over is the length of my knowledge on such Drama.
Eg Warren Sapp by the Jets,De Marcus Ware by the Lions.
Matt Millen’s Son had a crack at his old man, about the latter one.
Mitch got cut by the Bills on August 30,no doubt a new Coach had his own Punting Favourite.
So Mike Vrabel’s Patriots picked him up and put him on the Practice Squad.
He’s off the bench already for 4 Punts,for 177.2 yards,only 9 return.
The Patriots lost, but Mitch did his bit to try and keep the Seahawks pinned down.
He was meant to go back on the Training List,as the regular Punter was fit again.
However,he played his 3rd Game for the Patriots, but unfortunately for his Team, they got SPANKED by the Jacksonville Jaguars 35 - 7.
Hope he doesn’t cop any blame for his Kicker missing a Field Goal, for a mishold on the ball.
Less prominent players can cop unfair heat for 1 mistake in a blue moon. But again, when marquee players have absolute shockers and sometimes often, they are easily forgiven.
2 Losses in 3 for the Patriots.
Just keep at it Mitch,do what you do and you should get an extension on your contract at Victor Kyam’s old Company(Franchise).
Alec is really raising some eye brows with a 70 yard punt on the weekend and is considered one of the best across the country. unbelievable! Go kid!
Is he still at Virginia Tech(if I have that right)?
Anywhere near Blacksberg?
he’s with the Gators now.
