Confirmed by the Club today the passing of Brian Conduit.
A solid defender Brian played in the 3rds premiership in 1959 and represented at league level between 1961 and 1965.
If my memory is correct was knocked unconscious by John Gerovich 1 week before a state game.
We know who played in that game.
Brian served the Club in many ways over many decades.
RIP Brian.
Whilst Brian may have played only 37 League Games,if Rick was to add up his Total number of Games in all Grades,it could number over 100 games and more, which we can all thank Brian for his Services onfield and off-field for those who knew him better.
His part in the Club’s 1st ever Colts Premiership, was in a Team that Dominated the Competition in 1959.There were 2 challengers, but the reality was No One got Close to that Perth Team, which each Squad and Team Member can justifiably be proud of.
Rest in Peace,Brian.
Condolences to Family,Friends and Team Mates.
