Yes we got no run from our halve backs at all. Yes Speed is a good change in selection speed gutsy and thinks !! Does selection just become. One of of a family club keeping the players and the board happy. I would hope the biggest goal would be to win games and finals.

That was as disappointing performance as I can recall in the past 2 seasons. Season on the line and comprehensively out coached, out run and out worked. I agree with mike and BH in that it was evident that one team was united, well drilled and playing for each other while their opponents looked disjointed and were complaining with each other.
A clear sign the coach is done is when the players start arguing with each other and you could see Subi thrive off this. They had a clear plan, like most teams have had, to run with Trew. The poor bloke gets no chop out from the other mids because they are all worried about their own stat count. Surely there was a plan to counter Trew’s attention with some attention to Giro??? And while we are on Trew… pretty sure his relationship with the coach is nonexistent as the coach doesn’t communicate with him at all.
Schofield also threw an extra up at the stoppage from very early in the contest. It left Pasini as the spare but rarely if ever was he influential and Subis speed of ball out of stoppage was too much. By the time Pruyn had countered subi had stoppage dominance and any time we won clearance subis spare left our fwds chasing kicks out under the scoreboard.
Erceg shouldn’t play another league game and the time has come for Stephens to have a spell, maybe forever. Lynch is a far better option than both.
