Thanks Mike!

Hurrah!

That’s what I’m waiting for,but I’ll watch Fox Cricket for Free,wherever possible…

:smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Marsh was flying in Aust 1st ODI, then the wheels came off big time for the Aust batting line up. Connolly keeping his good form gping, firming nicely for a first test top 6 batting opportunity…surely not at number 3 though?

Not sure who out of Inglis or Carey, Aust should go with at the ODI level…both have a penchant for reverse sweeping at the most ill opportune moments, often resulting in their untimely dismissal…definitely can’t play both.

Brainless batting. After a brilliant start, the required run rate was down to about 5. So the approach from every batsman was to try and slog the ball out of the park… shades of bazball

Perfect rehearsal for the Tests.

I’m afraid that lapse that allowed Jansen to belt 75 was the deepest cut

it became a big difference

over 100 extra runs from that far down a batting order is big

South Africa actually had the worst of the conditions, surviving an awkward period at the start.

It was an impressive performance by them given they were missing their best two bowlers. Jansen seemed to be inspired with the bat, ball and in the field and his catch to remove Renshaw had to be seen to be believed

Australia’s inadequacy in handling any type of decent spinner was there once more for all to see and made more concerning by the complete demolition of the Australia A batsmen by a couple of spinners in India which was happening at the same time as this match!

Whilst disappointing, let’s see what happens over the coming weeks…pretty sure a fair few pundits were putting Freo’s cue back in the rack after that dismal loss to Hawthorn…come 3 weeks later and it’s not all doom n gloom…yet!

I’m not even bothered about these games,Freeze.

Real thing is in 2 weeks,or thereabouts .

Australian bowlers receiving some absolute hammer at times

Miller brutal looking plenty of balls left and almost 300 on the board

Ellis only bowled 4 overs due to injury so South Africa were always going to get a huge score. One positive was the 5 wicket haul from Jack Edwards. The rest of the bowling was cannon fodder, think Zampa needs a rest. Needed a couple of centuries to have any hope but Marsh and Head got out when well set. The rest of the batting was pretty forgettable, Bartlett excepted. What the hell was Green doing? Thought it was a test match maybe he was having a hit up for that series?

I thought Australia did really well to restrict SA to 365 all up

That was at one stage a 400 plus chase staring at us

And then the opening pair got into some minds

but just gave it away at the wrong time altogether

another 10 overs together would have seen huge cracks appear

and then Carey promoted up the order?

Well that is a big no

Pity Marsh got out really he was scaring the SA bowlers witless

Aust chased well…just needed one of the openers to ton up…losing Ellis hurt, even more so when Zampa went for a bit…Aust were scratching around for those Ellis 6 overs…only got beaten by 32…be more concerned if SA had bowled Aust out for under 200 TBH…rather Bavuma fill his boots now then in the test series…and Miller won’t be suiting up in the tests…can see Aust bouncing back in the test series…though WTF was Carey batting at 4?..

You would expect this last game you will need close to 350 to win again, not sure the Aussies have the quality or depth in their middle order to make those scores regularly

Starc and Cummins may have a run in this game in preparation for the tests

Consolation win. Nice to see Peake given a go at number 4, unlucky not to get a 50. A decent batting display albeit against a under strength attack. Looked like another injury concern for Green, the guy is jinxed

Cummins and Starc had a good tune up for the test, theres a warm up game on the weekend for them to get a few more overs under their belt

FMD just when you think Bailey, McDonald & co couldnt get any more incompetent you wake up to read they have added Nic Maddinson to the Test squad along with Sam Harper.

Australian cricket going nowhere with these clowns running the show…

I’m interested in Harper’s progress.

Going with Maddinson seems like they’re going back to Veteran Ranks to plug a gap.

mmmmmm well that sounds like Green is dodgy yet again

and Inglis isn’t going back with that broken finger

Mate you would think Maddinson’s next Test attempt, couldn’t go as bad as the first attempt…as for Harper…well he is one of few of Aust batsmen actually getting bat on ball these days and scoring runs…really thought Peake would of been in there…not sure what is going to happen…unlucky for Green if he is out…
