Was that 3 or 4 draftees? Is very hard to beat coastal privilege these days. The golden triangle is our footy heartland these days.
Five taken from Claremont. Fremantle rookie listed a ruckman from them today.
All down to hard work, fellas. Nothing but good old fashioned hard work.
Ted, perhaps Perth do need to work harder on the colts to seniors transition phase mate. Never easy though when Perth has more of a Bermuda Triangle than a Golden Triangl, to work with…so I don’t fancy Perth’s chances TBH.

You are right here about the Bermuda Triangle v the Golden Triangle Freeze.
I imagine that the Culture of the Club struggles to a degree because of the vast differences in Socio Economic background of the players and supporters along with the dilapidated stand, change rooms and general feel about the place. The houses next door are generally ramshackle and the drive into the place gives somewhat a feeling of despondency.
To play for SF with Freo as your home ground and having the entertainment precinct right there would be nice and snug. Similarly - Claremont, EP/Subi and to a lesser extent SD and WP. I have been told that Peel has the best game day set up. I do think EF may have stuffed their future - only time will tell.
Saying all this I think Perth do a fantastic job with the cards we have been dealt. The new stand that has been promised for so long (but that the council sees no merit in) would have given us a chance to be proud of our brand and build a more lasting culture of loyalty amongst players and from this some success.
Our boards work bloody hard, our supporters are amongst the best and we all remain faithful that the ship will turn.
Some good news soon would be nice though.
Peel are not even in the top 4 for home game set-ups. Swans, Perth and East Perth would be the standard for home game atmosphere.
