A disappointing night for the Aussies in Pakistan last night.
After looking to be cruising all hell broke loose.
Losing the openers early was a bad sign.Short bowled for 5 and Head caught in the out field.
Green looked alright but,Couldn’t carry on after getting to highest score 36.
A bad mix up with Renshaw didn’t help.But I saw a headline this morning balming Green for the mix up.Green was never going to be able to make his ground with the ball being hit directly to the cover fieldsmaan.
Zampa best of the bowlers with 4/24 off his four.Mahli Bearman got in on the act late with two in two. Bowled pretty well after beiing clouted for six off his first ball in international cricket.
Bartlett picked up two including a wicket first ball.
Where was Inglis! How come he wasn’t wearing the gloves.
Far fromthe best team from the squad, but I expected a better result.
5 or 6 of the elite players didn’t play,so no cause for panic according to Wayne Clark.

Cooper Connolly continued his poor run with the bat. Out for a second ball duck coming in at number 5

Connilly has bowled well aftef an early beating. Claimed a vital wicket, but had to got to review when leg and off were safe but middle was in trouble.

When Pakistan plays the Aussies,Indians or Hindu locals will support. Us.

Having said that,Cricket fans in general are probably just happy to see more International Cricket there,after many years without it!

This series means a lot more to Pakistan and they have played accordingly. Australia are not treating it seriously as evidenced by the smiles on the faces of many of the batsmen as they are walking off after being dismissed. Good to see young Beardman in the first game looking totally at home at this level
I have never heard of this bloke, Usman Tariq before, but apparently the “mystery bowler” has history. Twice being cleared of chucking by the Pakistani cricket board.
Strange that.

A serious question re Usman Tariq.
What would happen if the batsman stepped away when he stops his bowling action at the high point.
He actually stop his bowling action.Would the batsman be in his rights to step away?
A batsman has a right to pull away if he gets distracted during the bowlers run up so I guess the answer is yes. It would be called a dead ball. I think it would create a lot of Aggro if they did this consistently though
