Both clubs will be happy to see the back of this season, injuries which have impacted dramatically with an inability to get their best players on the park and perform consistently
Having said that it would be nice to go out with a win so expect a genuine contest. Hopefully both coaches throw out the defensive handbook and treat the spectators to a decent shootout. Why not? Its a dead rubber game
Would be great to see both teams score 100 points plus rather than a boring 8 goals to 7 drudge fest.
With the reports of rumblings of discontent at Swans along with the home ground advantage, I would expect the Sharks to prevail.
The reserves will have a chance to have a decent hit out for their finals campaign

Don’t think even Jarrad Jansen’s last game…150th… is gonna get EF over the line…..two teams running on fumes….though SD fumes seem a touch more productive then EF of late…Kohlmann usually has a day out against EF….as does Turner…… one would think EF colts will take game 1, with SD reserves taking game 2….
EF/SD ladies/girls meet in the WAFLW/Rogers finales….good luck to both sides….though pretty sure EF will need it more, considering SD have beaten both EF sides twice so far this year.
Finished with a win but I cant help but feel if the coach continues with this moronic handball crazy style then 2027 will be another fail. There is the makings of a decent side IF we play more long and direct to our key forwards AND they get the playing list fit to actually PLAY instead of watching from the stands!
Yes I agree BH. Much to much handball. I got the feeling watching that game. If we played any other team we would of got pumped. Yes there is some good yong guys coming thru. But poor thought process ALLYEAR to much handball. And to my mind we lead to the same pocket all the time. Steed looked good. Erseg played a blinder Contessa was about. Pina always has a go. The game plan is not working. At times today we did not look good.
Well done to the players for a win to end a very disappointing season on a positive note. Sadly I might be posting the same thing this time next year unless the club decides to make some changes to the football department because doing the same things every year and expecting different outcomes makes no sense at all.

Mate, if SD reserves had kicked straighter, the first 2 matches of the day could of been humongous thrashing.. …EF colts took SD colts to the cleaners from the off…..I was hugely surprised EF reserves got as close as they did…..actually led for a bit as well.
Turner had his usual day out v EF, whilst the threat of Kohlmann, somehow shape-shifted into Ernst, and the tall forward had a day out. EF losing Cleaver on the morning didn’t help, but as good as Cleaver has been for EF this year, no way he would of gotten EF any closer to SD TBH come the siren sounding.
Think about 6 - 8 guys who played league yesterday will be eligible for the reserves final in 2 weeks and you would hope some of the injured guys will return as well
I know the feeling mate……injuries haven’t been kind to either of our clubs this year…..I guess more frustrating for you SD fans, because atleast EFFC actually lists their 20 odd injured senior players…..whilst SDFC only lists 10 injured players…seemingly keeping their fans in the dark……leaving you boys thinking where the hell are they?
