With the way the ladder is at the moment, this is a must win game. Looking forward to it though. We have had the week off and hopefully gain a couple of players back and others are feeling refreshed. Chance out is a blow though and Paul Johnson, Brendan Lee and Josh Smith will have to be stopped.
Geez how quiet is it on here. You all haven’t taken holiday’s have you?
haha
Eez up MR AFL, busy working, it is 30/06 coming up.

Yes I am also looking forward to getting back in it. We seem to be having more byes than playing.
We should match up all right with EP and we did beat them last time.
Should go in with confidence.
30/6 isn’t that when I get my spending money (tax return) ![]()
This is the start of a run of 6 games, EP, Peel, SF, Swans, Subi and Peel before our next bye. EP and Subi are the only home games.
I actually don’t mind the Sunday games, apart from the fact that you have to work the next day ![]()
Peel twice at their dung heap in 5 weeks.
Shit!!!
Yep Peel have been playing quite well at home this year. Should have beaten Claremont as well from memory. The Thunder had the last 3 or 4 scoring shots which were all behinds from memory.
It’s an important block of the season but still the focus must remain on East Perth. At 5:30 on Sunday we can turn our attention to Peel next week.
Sounds silly the old ‘one week at a time’ but how many times do we see teams or have been apart of a sporting team that has looked beyond the task of what confronts them first and it has come back to bite them in the backside.

If this team wants to play finals that’s the season right there in these next six games. All teams they’ve beaten already, all teams below them on the ladder. Win all of them and they’ll pretty much sow up a finals spot.
We were in this exact same position at this time of the season in 2004. I hope this team is made of sterner stuff and demonstrates that with a win over EP on Sunday.

…& Will Schofield.
Will Schofield may be busy himself.
So might Josh Smith!!!
busy getting leather poisoning perhaps?..
He may also be chasing forwards.
As usual you missed the point.
You really are misguided aren’t you?
This will be a much tougher proposition than the last time we met and won.
East Perth’s form is much better than ours going into this game, they have won 3 and lost only 1 in there last 4 games and we have won only once and lost 3 in the same time.
They same form is everything well East Perth right now have that momentum!
Lets hope we didnt leave our season at home V Swans,i hope that game didnt knock the stuffing out of us for the remainder of the season.
There is only 1 game and percentage seperating 2nd to 6th and with a really tough draw awaiting games like this at home are “must wins”.
Perth due for a big one - will win by 60 -70 points.
Don’t know about that TFAF.
I will be happy to win.
A point will do.
But I do think we can bounce back, this is a good group and we are well balanced.

Would love to share your optimism TFAF but I think this game is going to be a lot harder than that. Perth coming off two losses and a weeks rest while East Perth have played some good football over the last month. Some good inclusions into the initial squad for the Demons and the Royals have also made a fair few changes by the look of it as well.
Can’t wait for the game and as usual hope the Demons can get up!

The tables have turned. Players have had enough,We will win by a hell of a lot. K Reimers, D O’Sullivan, M Moody, B Stack,J Sketcher,S Tunbridge,J Jacobs,F Mcinnes, M Boyle to have their best games for the club. who will get the back spot - Kane or Ranstead? Seem to be pushing Johnson Hope he shows what he is made of this week.
I’d play Risol, Johnson, Kane and Ransted. Lets see how it works. EP do have some tall targets in their team. Take Lycett, he cops a fair wack but kicked 3 against us last time.
Sincair & Ransted to miss I would have thought with the way the team was announced.
Last time they met
footy facts , any chance of goals kicked via free kicks as the demons kicked 3 of the softest goals against the ducks, Frasers , bevans and billings mk2
