Match of the round

With Peel in good form the roady trip to Basso v Swans is shaping as the match of the round. Crozier and Hannath look like being on the bird heading east so the Peel listed boys will need to step up. Swans will be desperate after losing 3 of there last 4 and are a 5 goal better team on their dung hole.

There’s been some good shit come from the alignment. The improvement of the wafl drafted boys like Blakely has been huge. There’s no way his footy would have gone to his current level had he stayed at Swans.

Should be a ripper. Swans by 7 points.

Another sharp one above by the looks fellas!
Connor was playing League footy at 17 & was All Australian last year at the National 18’s all whist being just a part time footballer at SDFC.
If he was able to train, do weights & recover all day 7 days a week at Swans like he is able to at Fremantle (not Peel by the way) how would you know, not too mention he would now be getting a fair go with the whistleblowers in those absurd jumpers?

BH at least RD has picked SD to win the game…not too many folk are doing that on Ooos tipping thread mate

touch wood SD haven’t done too good a job then BH!..wouldn’t want to see Connor kick 5, and pick up 30 odd possessions helping Peel to victory over his former club! :pinch:

I can’t see Swans getting up. The Peel Thunder boys will have far more passion ,love for their jumper and commitment to their club than the Swans boys and will win by a couple of goals.

     I would say that you are dickhead of the month, but I don’t make personal assassinations here.
Peel Dorks win a couple of games and after all these years and the crabs crawl out from under their shells     (passion ,love for their jumper… bugger me, still laughing at that one)

58Shark you are a fool and a tool. So you think no one supports Peel. When your mob came down here did you think it was all Sharks supporters? Reckon you stayed at home with you cup of tea and rug.

Hey rook, course people support the crabs…all 17 of you. The rest of the crowd were Dorks members and supporters

RD do you think that it is a good indicator of the break-up of the crowd based on the relative sizes of the huddles around the players during quarter and three-quarter time? If you do which team will have the greater huddle tomorrow and will one be signigicantly bigger than the other? Which team’s huddle will have the greater number?

Just have the feeling that Bolter may have had his tongue firmly embedded in his cheek there Shark…

Zac Dawson is apparently playing for Peel tomorrow. I would imagine this would be the first WAFL game he has played?

good to see the Peel boys getting stuck in with a bit of banter here…they get caned for not coming out of the closet and when they do… they get caned for doing so!!..anyway I’m thinking of changing my pick to Peel now… especially since Zac Dawson is playing now……good luck to both sides…

He played a game for Perth in 2013 .

RD did the Peel supporters get lost en route to Basso today?

I thought I was in a ghost town whenever they scored one of their 7 goals..Me and B.H. were chatting after flogging Peel that it is no doubt a day at Basso pisses all over any other ground or club for atmosphere !!

I thought that there would be a lot more there today given that they had won their previous 4 games. Even allowing for the fact that it is a long way to come, maybe about an hour to and fro on the train. Maybe some of the Peel fans have seen through the sham of this club which again had 14 Dockers players out of the 22 today.

Lucky for that passion and commitment towards the FART jumper otherwise it might have got ugly!!

Game was a fizzer. Peel boys played like it was a weekend holiday particularly the mids. Maggots gave Swans a free ride all day. FFS what was the free kick count. Whatever swans deserved to win.

Whoever sells the trackies and thongs up that way must be racking it in.

RD was it simply a case of that bad day in the office experience that most clubs have time to time during a season for Peel last weekend? EF had a shocker v Peel a month back, SD had one v EF a few weeks back, they do happen, bit fustrating but I guess Peel’s youngsters will have their ups n downs like other youngsters in the WAFL will have…youngsters like Blakely, Grey, Ballard, Weller, Lawler, Winton, Deluca, Apeness, Pearce, Vandeleur, Hughes etc will peak and trough through out the season no matter how many times they train…you only get experience from playing games I guess…touch wood they all learnt from SD passion & committment and transfer that into their own footy careers.

Hey Freez, you betta check that someone hasn’t hacked into your Ozfooty account.
Am I reading this right!!!
Geez if you have written that you better get ready for a barrage from the G7 members here.
I get howled down from them when I raise that issue.
But you are right about them needing the passion to play for the jumper. They will learn from the senior payers from other clubs at WAFL level for sure.
