List changes for 2026

Think it might be James Adams he landed on our list a few weeks ago. No 53 no photo. Age 20, 179cm from Fremantle CBC played for our reserves last week against Peel.

Jack seems to have Reg’s Guernsey,at least for this Saturday R&B.

Jack Kluske age 27 says from Sydney Swans.
We are looking for a small forward, maybe this is the piece.
He is listed on the WAFL site but not the DEES site.
So any clearance must be through.
Maybe he has been playing in the NSW League.

Is named in the Sydney VFL squad for Thursday 26th March.

Well that confuses everything,…

Not sure what’s going on unless he’s playing on a permit.

By the way the red and white jumper is a Sydney jumper maybe the VFL one.

Maybe after not being picked up in the SSP he’s decided to seek other opportunities.

Well he’s named in the league side for Saturday.

A mate of mine reckons there’s a link to Stone at Glenelg and obvious link with Indi Kirk.

As I expected looks like close to full strength squads for both teams for this last scratchie.

Going to be some good scratchies on this weekend. Should generate some excitement for those who bother to go.

The club has our jumper presentations on after the game. I think everyone welcome not just members. Starts 6pm.

Look forward to Saturday, from Colts to Guernsey Presentations.

Archer Gardner has dropped off the list. Anyone know what happened there?

No, but it explains the recruitment of Kluske.

FMD recruits dropping like flies. Saw him for the first time running laps during the intraclub a couple of weeks ago maybe had an injury he was struggling with and asked to be released and went home.

I think we have plenty of points available to pick up another player or two.

Is Buddy available?

He’s only a 1 pointer.

I think we have improved our list from last year with Dean and Kirk. Losing Derksen was a blow. However, we need to have the sort of dream run with injuries that SF had last year, and that C seem to have every year. Last year the following players missed between 4-15 games: Hill, Dellamarta, R Clarke, A Clarke, Simpson, Kemp, Hine-Baston, Johnston, Brogan-Henry, Edwards, Paton, Jacques, Thorne, Derksen, Poole, McLean and Roberts. That’s 17 players, 10 of whom are in our best 22. Add to that pre/mid season walk outs from Coniglio, Randall, J Clark and Stubbs, and our depth was sorely tested. Guys like JPC, Luers, Williams, Kemp, Bodle and Fleiner should not be anywhere near getting a league game. Things haven’t started so well this year, with Paton out, and Edwards and Schlensog under a cloud. We have a tough start to the year as well - we should beat WCER in round 1, but then we have SF, Peel (away) EP, EF (away and C. A 1-5 or 2-4 start would take the wind out of our sails pretty quickly. (Apologies, but as a Perth fan, I am a natural pessimist)

I’m thinking that we have landed on our feet with Kluske.
Yes, we see Gardiner go, but I have a feeling Kluske is the better player.
IMHO our recruiting has been very good and I think we are much better list.

Edwards is playing today in the league along with Harding. First 23 absent Davis, Schlensog, Parfitt, Paton, Hill. And Jaques was our No 1 ruckman in the latter part of the season who is injured.

Joey Chaplin lining up for the Tassie Devils today. Have we cleared him or on a permit?
