Wacky baccy.gee you must be on it.
funny that they said last night that the big four of Melbourne were back in the eight last night. Essendon ,Collingwood,Carlton and wait for it.Richmond.
Gee you sure have forgotten all about the AFL haven’t you AKA.
Always good for a laugh though you are.
Were you around during the Packer cricket revolution Mark? I was and watched it unfold with all it’s gimmicks - it was a hit. With all the dissatisfaction that is happening in the Aussie Rules world you better believe that there will be a Gina out there within 10 or so yrs. They will be counting the dollars to be made via a breakaway comp.
Sorry Bazza dumbest response yet mate. I agree with the day its a wafl day but to say the tigers are not a powerhouse is silly.
Would have been a perfect night for rain and hail I reckon, that + the eagles loosing would have made a fantastic end to a great weekend

It’s more silly saying they are a powerhouse, fair dinkum they are a joke of a club, done nothing for decades, haven’t produced many champions in recent history and 4 years ago only had 30 000 members , almost went broke not that long ago, they are nothing like Collingwood or even Carlton ,powerhouse my arse,
Make no mistake it’s easily on the cards. What happens when 6 big clubs , Collingwood essendon hawthorn and Carlton the eagles and the crows a walk into the afl house and say , were pulling the pin on you mob , we have a better offer you better it or were out, they would have the afl over a barrel , the afl would be left with a bunch of busted arse in solvent clubs in Victoria , a few interstate duds that make no money and get no crowds , the afl would be bust and bust quick…
It wouldn’t take long before a few others were knocking at the door to join the break away. Free of salary caps, free movement of players no middle man dictating terms …
I think you are both onto something. the afl has 4 teams too many.
Merge
GC and North Melbourne
GWS and Footscray
Melbourne and Carlton
Piss St Kilda off (their players can go to Port though) Port to change their nick name and colours to make them more palatable to SA supporters.
All clubs to have their own reserve side playing in the AFL.

Yeah spot on although you would have buckleys chance of Carlton merging, way too powerful , as for the rest they are financial lemons, way to many weak links perhaps around 6 clubs are unsustainable beyond cash handouts.
No, Collingwood Essendon Carlton Hawks Eagles and Crows and Probably Dockers and Cats get together negotiate a deal with the media - walk in and tell them what they want or they are out - how long would the AFL survive without them ???
You think the Bulldogs, Melbourne, GWS, GC, Saints, Port and North could survive and sustain a comp??? lol what a joke.
Big boys blow the salary cap , raid the dud clubs of the good players they have , come over and live it up or stay with the walking dead.
When I win the 20 billion dollar first division lotto prize I will form this breakaway league…Swan Districts will be the first superclub and I will lure with massive cash incentive all current & future Claremont players away from that club until they fold…only then will I be happy!!!As for Richmond being a powerhouse, let’s not give them so much credit. We don’t want the Eagles to have such an easy excuse to fall back on. They got well beaten on their own dung heap by a club hoping to make the top eight. Unfortunately the glass ceiling appears to apply to Richmond and spot 9 is where they are at. Best of luck to them, I hope they prove me wrong…god help us all if they do and Caroline Wilson is still on the job. She’s reason enough to form a breakaway league…just to get her off the telly. Putrid is the word that comes to mind…oops sorry guys off on a tangent again, damn this waccy baccy is good. You should try some Mark Olsen
You are all on about how bad the AFL is for the WAFL,how do you think it would go down if this super league happened. It would be dead in a flash.Their would be hardly any players go to the NEW Power house clubs because they would have enough good players from the AFL.Where does all the money come from for the WAFL clubs!!!
The junior development programmes go down the chute. So no money for the WAFL.
You are all dreaming and living in La LA land.
