Jye Bolton retires

Given the apparent lack of Claremont supporters on this website, I thought I would put up a bit of a tribute to Jye Bolton who has recently announced his retirement. One of the best in the WAFL in the past decade without doubt. From an opposition supporters point of view, he never seemed to play a poor game and inspired the Tigers to many victories although the one thing missing from his CV was a premiership medal. Well played Jye

Mike, I think you nailed it regarding his consistently high performance level. At his peak, it was worth the money to see he and my mobs mids, particularly Leigh kitchen go full steam head to head, no quarter given are asked for, then walk off after shaking hands, great days.

Well played Mike.
Have to give credit where credit is due.
He was a very good player for a long time.

I think entered Claremonts league side in twenty 15 or 16. He only had to participate for another handful of matches to reach the 200 game milestone. One of the great Wafl players of recent times.
