Xavier McGuire was saying the other day that the Pies were robbed after an incorrect interchange very late in the Hawks game.He pointed out that it was not only incorrect but gave the Hawks one interchange than they should have had.

A few weeks ago in a Dockers game and again I think the Hawks made an incorrect interchange when one of their players entered the ground from out side the interchange gates.
Why have these rules if the AFL is not going to penalise those breaking them!
Both wrongful interchanges could have impacted the result of games.In fact, the Hawks breaking of the rule most certainly did impact the result.

OK thanks Anchorman, never really heard of him. As for the topic, there needs to be a consequence that is communicated to all clubs for violating the IC rule. Maybe dock the transgressing team a goal or a 50 metre. Needs to be given during the game though not after. I thought there was an interchange steward there to monitor this stuff
I guess it depends on which stats to believe,X had stats from somewhere that said the they were one over.And I think also, the player being replaced had not left the field I think.

He may have got where he is with a bit of push from his ol dman, but he is his own man now.
