I would not take him unless he walked via pre-season draft - Neale will be 34 by the time the 2027 season gets underway, and history tells you players don’t get any quicker after that.
Freo have enough young talent that you risk losing if you bring in Neale, and West Coast have a history of overpaying old buggers that are past their prime.

He’s a free agent so either could get him for nothing. I don’t think a 33 yr old fits into either WC or Freo. Might end up at a WAFL club. But probably Freo will take him and pay him very little.
I don’t see him fitting into the Freo list that they have now.
Would be a very testy situation I reckon.
And there is no way he would play in the WAF, So not sure where he fits.

West Coast would be mad to not chase him, he won’t win a flag there but as a mentor to their young mids - his work rate is first class

The purple puppets signed Mason Cox to prop up their WAFL team so anything is possible. If I was WCE I would take Neale in a heart beat for the WAFL team. You’d be mad not to and any WAFL team would sign him up in a heart beat too.
Anyone would think Neale is the first person to have an affair with all the carry on.
