Hard fought game today. With all our current injuries the last minute withdrawal of Harry Marsh didn’t help. However you could not fault the endeavor of players from both sides.

That 10 min period late in the 3rd Custy didn’t help EF cause…..EF thru Smartt get to within 8 pts of CL, only for Hunter to wake from his winter slumber, and kick a few goals….stretch the lead out to 4 goals……only for EF to lose by 1 goal at the final siren. Can’t fault the effort. Free kick 25 - 10 to Cl was an interesting stat as well.
Losing HMarsh on a day like that didn’t help, but his replacement Petersen showed some good signs early on. The reserves woes continue, scoreless at halftime, goalless for 3 quarters…..never seen a season like it. Great win by the colts at the death, after trailing all day. Also a great win by WA 16’s v SA yesterday…..9 EF reps on display, all having strong games, with Warner wining BOG honours, and Taylor and Holland kicking couple each, to guide WA to victory.
