Disgraceful Scenes in Fremantle

Two Police Officers Hospitalised after disgraceful scenes at the Dockers South Terrace Grand Final “party” after a mob of violent dockers fans turned very ugly the entire event caught on video and played on the news tonight.

Several arrests made at the event.

Totally out of order, and what I cannot get is The Eagles have been in a number of GF and won them yet no ugly scenes or arrests. Definitely a different vibe with the crews.

That’s because the Eagles don’t have a geographical home base which would see 50,000 supporters congregate in the same place to watch the game.

Whilst it’s disgraceful behavoiur, when you get those sorts of numbers combined with alcohol, it doesn’t come as a surprise

Club Bay,…whoops,not any more.:open_mouth:

No surprise when it attracts a certain mob of ferals by the looks…

I seem to recall some big gatherings in 91 and 92 for the GFs, think there was a big event at Subi Oval.

Yeah, then a few fellas kicked on down theroad no doubt, in Subi and/or Claremont.

I watched the '92 GF in the Sandstone Pub.

there was a riot. all the windows smashed, a bloke copped an axe in the head, cops flew in from Perth. Hint: there wasn’t a single Geelong fan there.

everywhere theres blokes and booze theres disgraceful scenes.

pinning bad behaviour on Dockers Fans and canonising WC fans is the disgrace here Baz.

Ended up at Steves in 1992. I seem to recall…A place thats now Retirement Units or something..is that telling us anything? :joy:

Sandstone Pub,thats a normal weekend there…

Saying theres disgraceful scenes EVERYWHERE theres blokes and booze is ridiculous…thats just not the case, btw one of the offenders was a 51 year old women!

That event seemed well managed. Smart move by them, cant help feral supporters though.

True.

Can’t help a handful of nitwits who made IDIOTS of themselves amongst thousands who managed to conduct themselves well.
