The Dockers, Cockburn CC ,State Government and AFL have all agreed to the expansion of the Frwmantle FC area. With the now sandy areas being used for grand satnd, extra seasing, other buildings for the womens team facilities.
All go ahead for the Freo Dockers.

Whilst the sand patch is still there though,hardly an appropriate place for a National 18’s game on June 20.
Are AWFUL House planning to make that one a Behind Closed Doors Event?
if it being developed to that extent, perhaps a new home for one of the freo wafl clubs, not aligned but shared like perth and WCE

I agree it is an eye sore. But the land was not the clubs or councils to be able to do anything.The State have now allowed fremantle to develop it.

@Grump1 I wouldn’t think so. Like EF Oval, unfenced. But it could only be either East or Souths I would think. But there is no way that Souths leave Fremantle Oval.

Interesting that Fremantle AFLW team will play their home games at VGKO in Success this season.
If that is happening then they must be going to get on rather quickly with the seating in the outer, or the Sandy Hills area.
I wonder what the Bulldogs will think of this move.I would have thought that it would have been a bit of a money spinner for the Bulldogs when games were played there.
How long before Peelmantle games are moved there?
With 14 or more Dockers playing each week, plus interstate recruits Tardrew, Caldow, Burmeister, Cossor, Mathey etc not many Peel locals getting a look in week to week, some games lucky to be 5!
