Could be bye bye Brownlow.

After seeing the game today Suns V Doggies ,maybe there will be a new Brownlow favourite come Tuesday.
GAJ was picked up elbowing a Doggies player during a scrimmage on the ground. But maybe he will get off similar to what Chris Judd did when he massaged Mathew Pavlichs face a few years ago,or when he chicken winged some one else.
Not sure how Cooney will go after actually being reported during the game.To me it looked like Ablett ducked into the bump, but with these sort of things who knows how it will pan out.

He will get off, because he is Son Of God. He is G.Ablett.

I must add , we are losing players every week through suspension. Most of them pretty soft. The Chris Dawes one example of about 150.

Remember when a week or 2 week suspension was warranted genuinely . These days players lose games for what I’d class as quite minor things. Many worthy of a free kick at best, not a suspension.

Most likely won’t even be reviewed or if it is reviewed it will be deemed either not to have made contact or be of insufficient force to warrant a striking charge. Precedent C Judd on M Pavlich.

No chance of Ablett getting done for that.

If it was Stevie J gonesky big time 3 weeks.

Therein lays the inequity of it all. Stevie J got a week for a tummy tap on Ballentyne, lets see what that eagles bloke gets for the one on the pies player!!

Unka,Stevie J is a repeat offender regardless of whether you like to admit it or not.No body picks on him,he goes out of his way to make a tool of himself.Past history will always come back to bite him on the arse.
Regardless of who the thummy tap was on it was worth a suspension. It is only because it was Ballantyne that you continue to moan about it.Balla and Crowley play him like a big fish on the line.He expects it and even when it doesn’t happen he moans like the back yard bully who cops it back.
And I know you will say his stupid head butt on Crowley wasn’t worth a suspension,he was stupid enough to do it.As I said his pat record will always come back and bite him on the arse.
Should Ablett go!!!Yes Will he go!!! I think so.
Listen to the critics maon when he goes, our little boy has be persecuted.Wasn’r any such out cry when the then Brownlow favourite Fyfe was suspended.
But hey each to his own.

A predictable result I guess, but not sure it is right. As Robbo asked on 360 tonight,“Would Picken have gotten off if it was the other way round”?I reckon not.
I watched the replay a few times and saw how Pickens head jerked back on contact and how his hair flew on contact,I think that GJ has Picken to thank for getting off when asked if he hit him in the head.
Rest easy until next time Gary.

As predictable as night following day. REMARKABLY only two cameras picked up the incident. How FORTUITOUS if not totally UNBELIEVABLE.

Perhaps there needs to be an isolated camera that just follows him for the entire match - JUST IN CASE.

Another asterisk to go alongside the one for C Judd vis a vis versus M Pavlich.

Maybe they need an Ablett camera the same as they have the Crowley and Ballantyne cameras. There seems to be some fixation with how both Balla and Creepy play the game. Are they looking for the indiscretions that MAY occur!!!

Looked like the only contact from the ‘elbow’ was from the tricep, and in regards to Pickens head flying back, it would be a natural reaction to try to avoid the ‘elbow’. Obviously Picken saw it coming.
I was more curious about Witts knocking Yeo’s teeth out with his shoulder and not even getting a free kick.

Couldn’t see a free kick in that incident.

Certainly couldn’t say the bump is dead then.

The game would never start if they stopped for every one like that. My opinion was that Yeo made contact with Witts not the other way around. Yeo turned after MISSING the mark he should have taken. No fault of Witts.

Watch it again, Witts went the bump as opposed to bracing himself.

Yeo crashed into him after DROPPING the mark, he turned into the contact. Witts was protecting himself.

not sure what you saw Shwaborn but if you google the pictures it shows Yeo turning around and running straight into Witts who was coming in to stand the mark, he couldnt have tried to bump him as his arms actually ended up around Yeo, total accident
