A Grade Finals Week 3

What an exciting weekend we have coming up with the League game this weekend. (MrM will preview all 3 games next weekend as he had more pressing matter son his train commute this morning…).
Two Grand Finalists from last season meeting in a Preliminary Final doesn’t get a lot bigger, it is do or die for both clubs.
Scarborough just couldn’t go with Uni last weekend when the game was on the line and as for Freo C.B.C they had a crushing win over North Freo. Will be very interested to see how this plays out, and cannot wait for it.

Off field MrM managed to sneak into the lovely Crown Towers ballroom the other evening and what an event it was. People were queuing up for MrM autograph and MrM even had to decline a few as he knew they were just going to sell it online and try to make a quick buck MrM. With plenty of sport on TV at the moment as well there is enough to capture everyone’s attention. If that doesn’t wet your appetite, get out and enjoy some local sport and enjoy this glorious spring weather.

All right all.

Scarborough v Fremantle C.B.C @Millington Reserve

Scarborough have now lost their last tow games and both to the same opponent and if you think that means nothing, you may be right. They will need to do things the long way but would still think they are good as chance as any side remaining. Fremantle C.B.C cruised to a win but they know this weekend promises to be a tougher clash with stars all over. Scarborough did have their own problems last weekend of leaving out a few gents due to point’s restrictions so will be very interesting to see if they can shuffle things around. I am sure will be a very close game, and if Freo C.B.C can get a run on and be in front, I can see them winning, fall behind at any stage, with Scarborough at home will be too tough to come back from. Scarborough should win though and set up a fascinating final next week.
Scarborough by 1 goal

Good luck all.

It was an interesting game last week between Scarborough and Uni - only blew out in the second half of last quarter. Scarb had a few players coming in who hadn’t played for a few weeks and it showed as fitness and, consequently, decision making was down in the end. They also had 3 on the bench for the second half.
Obviously, they would have preferred to go straight into the GF but on the other hand, it would have meant they played 2 games in 4 weeks and they need the momentum to keep going for the players returning from injury who need match practice. Time will tell.
Scarborough by 2 goals in a close match.

Should be a beauty on the weekend the only question I have is whether the aging Scarborough team can play a high intensity 100 minutes against a younger CBC side. I think they can and Scarborough will win by 16 points
