I’ve never been a big fan of Swan Districts but I have to confess they impressed me on Saturday.
Thankfully, they ran out of steam.

The problem is that once the opposition has worked out how to counter plan A, there is no Plan B. The team is clearly not fit enough to run all day

There are about 8 - 10 players in our Reserves who should be in the League team.
Is our coach capable of making the hard call on the veterans who are continually turning the ball over to the opposition? I doubt it…….

Massive fail!
With Ernst being an unlikely positive from round 1 in his ruck role, which was predominantly the number 1 ruck, we drop Lynch, put Ernst down back where he looks like a lost sheep and persist with Blakely.
The plan looked to be to use more of Blakely in the ruck in the 2nd half but sadly he couldn’t compete with Jones and the game swung dramatically as Impeys influenced also waned, off a limited prep. Ernst in the ruck would’ve been a much better option.
