Hang on, isnt it the rule that they play for the BOTTOM reserves side, which in this case is Peel? Surely the fact that Peel are the Freo affiliate would make no difference to the reserves???

Geez, we were unbelievably sluggish early and I thought we were in for a repeat of last years 120 point hiding but we stuck at it with an undermanned line up. Keunen alone would have given us extra impetus. I think this game indicated that we are here to stay, CL are a quality side but there is a twist brewing, the side that plays them in the GF (providing they make it) will give them a run for their money, its not a lay down maser !

How was that throw from Foster in the 3rd that resulted in a goal, dumbfounds me how the maggots miss shit like that !

Looks like Slicks 3rd goal today was his 300th in WAFL league footy, well done to Slick

Good point as the same was told to me by another Supporter. So he should of played for Peel unless its got something to do with the alignments..?? I also noticed at half time when Paul was addressing the team another person had him aside and was talking to him alone? Most probably from the Eagles? Its all a mystery to me. Anyone know exactly what has happened her or Did the Eagles just nominate him to play with WP? Well all know when the WAFL clubs are asked to jump they ask how high but this DOES NOT allow them to change the rules..

They wouldn’t let him play for Peel I wouldn’t have thought.

WP were the next bottom side.

Yep sounds like what happened..Yet official alignment doesnt come in until 2014? The plot thickens but see your point

considering Neale played for Peel’s reserves on Sat v EF, sounds like WP were next in line on the ladder to get any available AFL player…

don’t see the problem DF, WCE pay Tunbridge’s wages, Perth don’t…thus if WCE want the kid to have some game time after missing a few games through injury, than so be it… what has it got to do with the PFC?..don’t understand all the ‘bloody disgrace’ fuss…deal with it and move on…

Being Brad Tunbridge’s son or nephew (from memory) you were probably wishing Simon had a run around in the Old Easts dags hey freeze?!

think he is a nephew BH…not too sure where Tunbridge would play in EF reserves…if he could even sneak a game in EF reserves…Chalwell seems to be in his way TBH

Just watched the first quarter. Think Wp missed their ruck. Don’t think c will win flag

Good news for EF, Saylor (indefinite), Bartholomew (4 weeks), Tsalikis (2 weeks), Salicic (TBA), Kerr (1-2 weeks) all out. Gunna be a tough few rounds coming up !

Bad news Leedy but not all that bad. Our Ressies have been doing well beating 3 top sides over the last 3 weeks.
Slick will most probably be replaced by Fowler?
Anton wasnt doing that well anyway and back to ressies last week. There are a couple who can replace him.
Razor hard to replace as top ball getter but a couple of players in Ressies that deserve a chance and this is a good opening for them to have a run.
Sala was out for 6 weeks before the reoccurance of his Hammy and we didnt do to bad in that period with other options. Kerr was playing well

I did a bit of a post on Page 1 of this thread and put the Stats up for the Ressies. Have at 3 who could come up but wont Rock the boat as sure the selection committee will bring up the guys deserving.

I think we have the replacements even though they have to proved themselves.
I am a optimist and still think we can beat EF this week.

Thanks for the update anyway Leedy.

After this weekends rounds there could be just 1 game and percentage seperating 2nd to 6th.
No team can afford too many slip ups and losses in the next month or so.

Hey TFAF,You don’t think Claremont can win the flag…what have you been smoking??
Name a team that has been more impressive than Claremont this season??They have only lost 1 game!!

Kody will be back this week as well that is a plus.
Looking forward to the team list on Thursday night even though that is not final usually close

Yeah Cardy. Going to be interesting at the selection table this week. Hopefully the ressies players can step up.
I like Fowler as a player but doesnt seem to given a go.Need to beat the Sharks otherwise we are back with the pack.
I think we need to pick up a back up ruckmen from somewhere.

Frank Stockley is doing alright this year.. He has been dominating the ruck in the Ressies (yeh I know a bit higher in standard in the league) but still getting a lot of hit outs. Had a game then back to Ressies and that had me mystified considering we were up against Seaby and Andrews.. It came back and bit Bill on the arse  when Chris got crook. Stockers ended up playing 6 qtrs and our only ruckman of note v CLA so all in all not a bad effort. I liked the way Paul Sanazone used him in the Ressies. Old fashioned footy he rucked and then rested in the Forward line where he was kicking goals and gave us another tall up forward..

Have a feeling with the outs we have the Reserves might be a bit light on this week as Chooky fowler has been kicking up to 5 goals a game and with slick out he SHOULD be up. I will certainly be there to support the Ressies who are showing a lot of Heart to win last 3.
