I see 1973 premiership player Roch Devenish-Meares passed away a little while ago. I recall he was a hard, no-nonsense type who didn’t mind giving one out on occasions, but he also could play the game.

Im a huge fan of Savigni: hes a star at state level and there several dozen worse players on a prime ministerial wage in the big league …
but his ball use isn’t AFL standard I dont reckon

we have the inside covered at stoppages, our back 7 is premiership quality, we have depth forward in smalls and talls.
our midfield needs a full overhaul

All good points RR. I’d also include another good sized defender to match up on the big forwards as we only have Blight with any height requiring Savigni, Henderson and/or Corbett to play taller than they are.

I think Corbett is a mid from here on. Gives us some real muscle on ball and puts teammates into space. He polled very well in the Sandover.
