There’s precedent….Claremont, South Freo and East Perth x 2 have pulled the pin on alignments.
A number of VFL teams have also chosen to end AFL alignments. And then theres the possibility of WC and Freo joining an AFL Reserves competition
So to suggest it will never happen is foolish.
Pickett signed on with Eaton before xmas.

The two clubs will never allow it. Spreading their young talent isn’t a thing either club would allow.
Been here before, if the other mob had not screwed the clubs and the WAFL, then maybe a club would enjoy an alignment. But they are poison. They even tried to overtake Perth.
