I see Willie Rioli will start training with Souths next week. Good for the club and the comp but not so good for the rest of us as even at 30, heāll be a handful at WAFL level. Well done Souths.

Thank fudge Michael, Maurice and Benny went missing in the 79 GFā¦made up for it in 1980 I guessā¦SF really should of had a 3 peat thereā¦79-80-81ā¦though EF 79 side and Cl 81 side had some decent talent tooā¦great era of footy

Both had Southās measure through those respective Seasons,whilst in the flipside,South had Swans measure in 1980.
Hope we get to see him ALL YEAR,as opposed to waving Goodbye in May!

Yes mate that was my concern if he decided to join us, but you guys have two very capable rucks so no great loss if he goes I guess. Freo were trialing him as a backman, not ruck

The kid is only 19ā¦Is he any good?..if so, surely Freo would of linked him to Peelā¦especially since Riddle is out long term, Reidy gone, and Cox assures us all,he is playing AFL, and not WAFL in 2026ā¦ especially with Darcy being the crock he is or has been lately.
