Trew and Reidy in, Harvey and Cotellessa out. Hopefully Swans can make a game of this. East Perth have a lot to play for so I expect them to take the 4 points. But you never know. We had a good lead on them in round 2 only to fall away in the last quarter.

I think Swans are a big chance in this game. EP have still got many good players out injured and they may have set themselves for a big performance last week. We were woeful and never looked like winning but I reckon Swans could ambush them this week.
Swans will have a crack,that’s for sure.
But I don’t think East Perth will undo what they did in the past 2 weeks to let it slip here,….
But I’m hoping for a Great Game tomorrow and it won’t bother me if Swannies do get up!
Wrong, Hayward had his best season under German and played some really good football. But for some reason they brought in Jed Kemp from the Eagles and thought he was better and Simon never got a look in. Kemp hardly fired a shot and disappeared off our list at the end of last year.
Hayward played 14 league and 4 reserves games in 2023 averaging 11.6 disposals and kicked 11.5. Took 31 marks and laid 47 tackles in those league games. Following season played 15 reserve and 1 league.
In 2019 Simon Hayward won our Jack Ensor Medal for the farest and best in the colts polling 131 votes, 47 more than Nathan O’Driscoll.
He did pre season last year but I think Stone must have cut him before the season started.
I heard he was going to Bassendean at the end of 2024.
2024 German coached Perth for all but 2 games.

As a royals man, very worried about this one..u guys had us for 3 qtrs the first time we played earlier this year so I wouldn’t be surprised if you get us..we still have a huge number of key injuries so I think this is anyone’s game but being as basso, I have a feeling swans just might get us
Very even season this year so most games are a toss of the coin this year

Hoping for a competitive game. Again not sure where our goals will come from let’s hope Reidy is on today. The ruck could be interesting to.
Mclaughlin is a big miss in the forward line, not sure when he will be back. Jehb’s season has been a write off as well. Those two provide avenues to goal which Swans could use
Huge credit to the reserves . They have kept winning despite the huge injury list and the impact on the depth of the squad. 11 wins in a row and unbeaten far in 2026. Also to the Colts for their come behind 1 point win, they have obviously been impacted by the injuries as well, with some of their players having to play in the ressies.
Hopefully these wins can inspire the league boys
