Considering the players who have recently turned their backs on this club, nothing but respect and admiration must be extended to Sam Stubbs for re-signing for 2025. Here’s hoping he can enjoy the hugely successful season that he so richly deserves.

I know of a talented 19 year old with silky skills who is just waiting for a phone call from the football GM. If one domino falls then… Or he could be lost to another club.

Gregor Taylor? Most likely back to PFL with his mate Bratovich. He played in the ressies all year with very mediocre stats. Compare him with someone like Jedward who has the kind of stats i would expect of a ruckman who can make the leap to league team.

Rome wasn’t built in a day boys- One Punch and Stone are experienced campaigners- they’ll get players in and the tide will turn. But as with EF, there’s no shortcuts. Plenty of players out there that haven’t committed yet

Still no news. Are we waiting until the draft? I was concerned in Barra’s letter to members that he referred to Colts and Res making finals and said “we are building from within.” If we try to go with some kind of “play the kids” plan, second last will be a good result.

Given Rokahr has just left Swans under contract- not sure that means anything. Locked in means they’re coming back- which given everyone scurrying out of Perth- is a good thing
