Grocott is no great loss. I just thought it was strange that he was back on the list for about a week before going off again. Avery is 190cm, high possession, intercept mark, fast, penetrating kick. In other words, irreplaceable.

Is this his 4th WAFL Club. I liked him as a hard nut player and a good bloke to talk to after the game but his disposal by hand and foot not great. Brodie Gray is a like for like for him. Frees up some points. I don’t think senior players at Perth would have been happy with him walking out after being dropped. Surprised $ubi picked him up

That seemed to count for nothing to Jaiden Hunter which really really surprised me. Yes apparently his partner is from Melbourne and I heard if he returns to the WAFL if delisted he might be heading elsewhere. Who I won’t say. Not holding my breath with Quintin returning to the Dees. Just expect the worst.
Witherden has been cut from WCE. Could be a replacment for Avery. Most clubs have announced a couple of signings so far, but nothing at Perth apart from some colts being added to the senior list - most recently Moore and Warrell.
Ted, Mark Stone and Brad Dodd should be right on to this before other clubs.
Witherden and Culley would be right at home in red and black at MRP

Is Brady Grey a chance of returning. He’s left the Fremantle coaching department as he looks to continue his playing career.

lots of possessions, lots of arrogance not a lot of substance when it comes to staying in the game plan, it is all about him!
He cracked the shits mid season and left to play amateurs. I’d say the club is happy to see the back of him. He has done the same at EP and also left a VFL side (Port?) during the first pre-season the year we got him.
