Brady Grey is the new Indigenous Player Liaison and Development Coach at Fremantle.
Not sure what his workload would be like but hopefully the club can sit down and have a catch-up with him and see if he is open to or his work schedule would allow him to play WAFL football in 2023.
[quote=“Winger post=223626 userid=846”]I heard that two assistant coaches have walked out. Apparently Germans old fashion coaching style didn’t hit home with them and they walked out.

That’s hardly any surprise. Out with the old and in with the new. Been well overdue.
I would like to think every WAFL club’s coaching team, especially with a new leader, would be touching base with one another within the club, well before training starts TFAF…

Sounds like horse shit. They haven’t even started training yet
You blokes havent started training yet, Falcons / Tigers started training two weeks ago. Im surprised that German hasnt started. I have it on good authority that two have walked out.
A complete cleanout as was required. I doubt anyone would have believed that there would be no changes.
Assistant coaches hey? Probably they were unsuccessful applicants for the top job.
Anyone still there expecting that things were not going to change was just dreaming. I would expect that they just walked as soon as Germo’s appointment was announced.
It was always going to happen.
Sounds like someone’s been shown the door and feeling quite hurt so trying to smear the club. Good riddance that blokes been leaking intel to his WP and EF mates for a long time. He should have been shown the door years ago.
[quote=“PD1899 post=223636 userid=2499”]I haven’t heard anyone walking out and smearing the club. Only smearing I’ve heard is from us supporters.

What absolute nonsense give us an example of a Perth suppoter smearing the club since the German appointment? Don’t start this turning supporters against each other shit again. It is in fact, a West Perth supporter coming on here stirring up shit which is nothing new and it is well known among some of us supporters that one of our coaches has close ties with West Perth and East Fremantle supporters.
It is no coincidence that they come on here with info leaked out about the internal goings on in our club. That bloke in my opinion is a cockroach and should be eliminated.
Boys, im not here to smear or stir shit. I was told yesterday by a Perth connection that two assistant coaches have walked out. Im only passing on what i was told. If that is bullshit then i apologize. Lets wait and see.
I wonder who the red & blue player was that had a meeting at Lathlain. Transfer fee is a problem.

Told by who Winger? Told by Leedy via our reserves coach? Let’s hope he has been moved on but probably still got connections. You seem to get fed a lot of info emanating from within.
DD, im close to the wafl in general. I know Leedy but not all that well. In future if i hear or know something about your club, ill not participate and refrain from posting. Keep well.
Winger, I assume you mean last year’s assistants.
Which is no surprise, they have been replaced.
If you mean Rumble, Smith or Priddis, I would be very surprised as they are German connections.

Excuse me there has been zero smearing of the club, Hello I am Andrew Panetta Reserves Coach of Perth for the last 9 years.
Unfortunately work and life have got in the way and I informed the club yesterday that I cannot continue on this season. Not great timing I know with a week from training, but it has just got too busy. I haven’t even been able to let friends and family know yet?? so I don’t know how Winger knows??. i don’t even know who Winger is??
Scuttlebutt doesn’t take long does it
My resigning has zero to do with Peter German, I think he will be great for the group and the club.
With running a family business and everything being as busy as it can be I cannot honestly continue and give the support and hours necessary to fulfill the role. Therefore, someone else will now have the opportunity to coach an amazing group of young men.
Yes, I am mates with Leedy, since we were 12, and yes, we do discuss football all of the time but no I have never let him in on any sensitive info regarding the club. We have an agreement around that.
Thank your DD for your support over the last 14 years as a development coach and then in a senior role I have had a great time at the club and know I have helped many young men fulfill the dreams of playing Senior footy and for some even AFL footy.
Winning a Premiership for the club 2 years ago was an absolute highlight for me and the club and even though it was “only” reserves filled me with a great deal of accomplishment.
I have been loyal and true to this club for 14 years giving it all I have and while yes there is always people that don’t like you, that comes with the territory, I cannot allow scuttle butt to derail all the work and hours I put in.
I will leave you all alone now and move on, not interested in replying, but the truth is out there as they say. Yours in football
Panetts
Thanks for your honesty Panetts and your time serving the Perth FC. Now you can enjoy supporting your beloved Sharks. The reserves premiership was a great day but unfortunately wasn’t a true reflection of our depth, rather a number of experienced league players winding down on their WAFL career’s. I wish you all the best.
