New WAFL Footy Facts Website

Interesting I use a tipping page by Stephen Clark from Swinburne Uni. I have been using for years and it has kept me in the hunt with the AFL tipping even though I sometimes change a couple (usually to my detriment)
Sure he must use a similar programme to you.
For anyone interested the site is listed below. I am not using it this year as didnt bother with the West comp etc due to travel

Worth a look

Not looking good for Perth. We will see. I will certainly be having a look in the future  Have thrown you footyfacts on the WP thread with the results.

Apologies for no review PvEF or predictions for rd 6, have limited internet access until Tuesday next week. Rd 6 review will be done Tuesday

Bugger your predications got 4/4 last week was going to use them.
No worries not a hard round to pick except CLA v WP but with CLA winning so many in the last 10 games and wins at CLA oval would of been the pick.

Round 5 P v EF review and all of round 6 games reviews complete. Access from the ][see more] links for each game from the 2013 season scores and results page.

Cardy - the predictions for last week from my softeare would’ve only got you the Claremomt v West Perth game.

Great to get you back Ric. Well the only one I got was CLA anyway unfortunately :frowning:
It was certainly a strange round and GOOD for the WAFL but not for tipsters who would of been tipping on Form..

Tips for Round 7 Look good except for the Perth v EP game at Lathlain?

Like the rest of the website, these tables do not include 1885-1897.

Cheers

Good work mate.. Understood top and bottom tables and have worked out the rounds as well. Gee the computer must of been churning to come up with those figures on each round over the years.. Peel was easy lol

Are you going to do a table on interstate games v WA?

Hey Cardy

FootyWorks does it all pretty quickly, the time consuming part is uploading them all…

No plans yet for state matches. I’ll add it to the wish list. Cheers.

Might wack up a list of most WAFL games played before the mrs gets home tonight.

Added most games played - 200 plus games and most goals kicked - over 500 goals. The goal kickers may not be accurate as I am missing some data for goal kickers.

http://waflfootyfacts.net/WAFL_records.html

Yeah - the goalkicking records are ones which at the moment are less-than-solid, from my records anyway (which I admit may have a few holes in them!).

Warren Ralph is an interesting one. The WAFL list him as having kicked 564 goals, yet from my counting he only scored 548. Considering he only played six seasons of footy - there shouldn’t be that much of a discrepancy.

1980 - 90
1981 - 127
1982 - 115
1983 - 128
1987 - 75
1989 - 13
TOTAL - 548

Sites like WAFL Footy Facts will hopefully go some way to clarifying some of these things.

BTW - Ron Tucker kicked 65 goals for Subiaco in 1952 - the rest of his goals were scored for Perth.

G’day UFG - yer I noticed some differences between the ‘official’ WAFL records and your figures too,
Thanks for Tucker’s numbers too, I put the goal kickers and games played up pretty quickly last night, I noticed a few errors when I checked it today, for example I think I had Steve Gillespie’s games in Subiacos column instead if Swans. I’ll check them tonight and fix up any errors.

Cheers

Ric

No probs Ric. Site continues to look great!

Looks like the ‘official’ figure for Ralph may include escort cup matches. I am trying to find results in the age online and have found results including goalscorers for 1982.

UPDATE: Win loss records for all teams v all teams has now been added to WAFL Records section.
