Might have to rely on them the way the WAFL games are going 
OOPS sorry I just noticed the tips for Round 8 are up. Kept looking at the box with the rounds on it instead of down below.. Of course round 8 wont be highlighted until after the round with all the Factsā¦ Love those Facts
haha - no worries - not sure how the tips will go this week. What do you think of the sortable table? New trick I just tought myself - need to look at where else it might come in handy.

Ric I did put your comp tips on Round 8 Media etc etc thread but will repost here anyway. Cant seem to get the Games records to sort. It states click on headings to sort up the top but when I put my cursor on the teams etc etc nothing happens. So what exactly do you click on to sort? I assume it sorts into ascending or descending order of teams?
ep gotta agree with only one I did not agree with was Subi Win..but who knows if Subi can get withing 6 points they will win the game anyway. The pendulum has swung EF way playing at home and the WP outs. Would love to be wrong :whistle:

Love the waflfootyfacts site Ric ..just out of interest tho can you by any chance extend the leading goalkickers of all time to those who have kicked 300/400 or more goals in the WAFL?
Hi Cardy, the sort works perfectly for me, sh old be able to just click on the headings, it will sort ascending first then next click sorts descending. I think I read somewhere you need to have java enabled on your browser for the sorting to work though.

I plan on extending the list to 300+ goalkickers but my data is very messy as far as goalkickers go and I along with some trusted helpers are trying to finalise the figures. I can be confident the list of 500+ goalkickers is pretty close to being accurate, but I canāt say that for the list I have between 300 - 500. Hopefully Iāll be able to have 300+ goalkickers up within a week or two.

UPDATE: Added 2013 records and Quarters won/lost in the 2013 Season page.
Had a look and another handy page although if you click on the round on the Home page it basically gives you the same. I like the round results on the home page because on the right it gives you 1ST and 2ND half scores and how many quarters were won by each team. Interesting that in round 8 each team won 2 qtrs. That most probably accounts for the closeness of all the games this round?
It is a question you hear a lot in close games and I asked the EF guys this yesterday as I was wondering how EF have been comming home.
It would be interesting to see if there is any consistent qtr a club plays well in e.g First qtr, Last etc etcā¦ Easily worked out though if you want to goto the trouble of looking at your club e.g WP and seeing what the best qtr is in each round and the worst and see if it is consistant. Might do that as I know we usually have a bad 3rd qtr where teams get on top of us. Has happened a lot latest example was v SF..
Anyway all good stuff Ricā¦Your one stop shop for facts and figures. Most probably a good coaches tool as well if he wants to look back at all games for facts.
I always put the FootyFacts on the game thread after each game as great trivia

The soon page is designed so you can see all games in the year, and the see the review you can click the [see more] link. Itās basically a full season review with the season records and qtrs included. Iāll also add halves won and lost too.
Does the quarters won lost give you what you are looking for in regards towhatqtrs each team plays best in?
Like the factor put the review details in, itās all good promoting for the site.

I donāt think the WAFL care about the comp. I have been putting my reviews on their Facebook page but I have now been banned from commenting on it! Well iam doing the site for the fans not the WAFl despite providing stats to the official WAFL historians. Rant over..
Ric the penny dropped after I postedā¦Things are slowing down these days especially after a day in the SHark Pit.
I realised the Home page season qtr by qtr scores are excellant basically the same as your new page but then I realised next year all the qtr by qtr results will move to the new page and 2014 will be on the home page. If you catch my drift. So we will have a history of year by year even though at this stage you only have 2013 on the Seasons page it all makes sense now.
Re the qtrs won and lost it does the job even though it gives how many qtrs won by each team I dont think it states what qtrs but as I said that is easily worked out by looking at each game for your club and others if you are playing them and want to know when they are (in the majority) Hot and when not. Suppose it could change from week to week where you win 2 different quarters etc.. No problem with that
The WAFL has never worried about the comp especially in promoting it to get people to the games. It will be interesting to see if they promote the State game but most probably not.
The ABC does a great job in broadcasting the game as do some radio stations especially 91.3 with Wafl World etc and interviews but I think they get little thanks for that. Colin Minson station manager said 91.3 got on awards last year for their work.
Is it any wonder these organisations wander offā¦ Bit like me being off Topic.

Hi Ric ..down the track would there be any chance of including the list of all the Best & Fairests, Leading Goalkickers, Captains & also the Coaches of all the WAFL teams over their history?
Thanks Puppy - great to be able to provide this information - I have kept it too myself for too long and have been waiting for WAFLOnline t provide more details but they havent so I thought bugger it - lets get the info out there as there might be some other people interested.
BH - Not planned at this stage - that information, well the fairest and best and leading goalkickers for each club is on the waflonline website - i dont want to spend too much time replicating what they have there, more to fill in the gaps. I have all that for Swans but not for the other clubs. Will consider for future, but thereās lots more I want to get up first.
