BBL Opener

Be 5 or more years since Green played BBL.

2010 his last contract ended.

Green would have been 10yo in 2010!

A couple of seasons ago, apparently there was an offer to him from the Brisbane Heat, but nothing eventuated.
Later, I believe he said that if he played BBL, it would be for the Scorchers. But again, nothing happened.

I’m just glad to see him play for WA in the Sheffield Shield and ODD’s from time to time.

When CA Don’t “Manage”him!

Child prodigy :joy: 2020 was his last Scorchers contract

My mistake.

A big win by the Scorchers last night.
A brutal knock by Finn Allan, carting all bolwrs all over the park… and fence.
Looks like the Scorchers are finding their best form late, when it counts.
Richo took a bit of a pounding, but is still a threat when on.
Inglis set free by CA to play Saturday and the rest of the finals.
Big weekend of BBL.

Pity tomorrow night’s match against the Stars won’t be on free-to-air TV

Is that right! I didn’t know that.
That is seriously wrong.

I didn’t make it last night unfortunately
.Went down to Willy for a bit of solitude for someone close.

I wouldn’t have had much competition for a Seat, compared to last Saturday, that’s for sure!

I have only seen highlights, but Smith, 100 off 41. 32 from one over.
Warner gets 110 and runs second. Crazy stuff.

As I asked before,is Smith(and Starc)eligible for Finals?

Wouldn’t think so,if required to play 3 or 4,BUT…

I have no idea. Not sure what their teams ladder position is.

Check out scores on Cricinfo

Im happy to have the best players available,in the BBL (Test Players)
Just adds to the BBL ,imo.

Let them play Grassy
Its great to see them back at state level.

Only properly G.

None of this “managed” BS,where he and others are only allowed to Bowl so few Overs per Game!

Either THEY(Cricket Australia)declare players Properly Fit to go,or they simply don’t play,if there’s any slight doubt.

Scorchers WON the bat flip and will field.
One change; Inglis for Hobson.

After an early scare, losing three wickets early, the Scorchers, through another brutal knock got over the line.
A solid knock by Hardie as well.
Makes it a Scorchers V Canes on Tuesday I think.
