Yes I agree RnB, Randall was recruited as that, had good skills, but I may be wrong, but I thought he could have done with a bit more pace.

I leave my trust in Dodd to find the solutions we need to move forward.
I just hope Constable & Parfitt stay.
But they do need help.
Having said that I have seen some good signs with the development of our younger players.
The big boys of the competition are too experienced for us at the moment.

Great season from the Demons on yesterdays game that ground wasnt fit for a WAFL final they should look at playing finals at Leederville Oval in place of Claremont. They couldnt even organise one portable toilet on the outer bleak side hopeless.

The mauling all day of Cpnstable and Parfitt was a disgrace and brought back calls for the biff if umpires wont defend them .
Can you not look at the ball and show no intention of getting the ball am referring to mainly Barron and Bolton who should know alot better he doesnt need to do that at stoppages.
Made me look very differently at Fridays night umpiring decisions to protect players off the ball well done great decisions let them play football not get mauled 100 metres away.

Leederville Oval playing surface is probably worse if that’s possible. They resurfaced it in the off season but laid the new turf too late and didn’t have time to bed in before the season started.
Hopefully it’s much better next season. When Claremonts’ redevelopment was completed I thought they would have a schmick new surface but it was still the crap old one.
Now Claremont are rolling in cash perhaps they and their rich council can rip that rubbish up and start again.

Thank you Basil, I’m glad that I’m not the only one that thought Barron gave a free kick to Constable at every stoppage that went unpenalized.
Parfitt has been hard done by, by the umpires all year.
They just don’t seem to like him at all.
I would be surprised if he polls a Sandover vote.
Claremont are protected species.
As for Bolton, he is one of the most protected players in the WAFL.
Does not get penalized at all and if you go within 100 metres of him he will get a free kick.
He gets most of his kicks from free kicks and running behind a player to take a handball.
And I would welcome Bolton to Lathlain in a heart beat. Terrific footballer with outstanding skills.
Did the Cl bloke who whacked the Perth bloke in the kidney near the end of the game get reported?
Mitchell Barron, that beast came from Sorrento Duncraig, how did he end up at Cl, I thought that was Subi zone??

Young Roberts did well on debut, tough gig having your first game in a final against a team with a stack of experience. Evans and Moore both with minimal games could develop into regular league players. Plenty of players who took the field yesterday have plenty of upside!

I agree Wormb, I liked the look of Roberts (along with Moore), was in the Colts side of the year last year (I think).
Evans is a late bloomer, and I have liked the look of him lately.
Moore will develop further as a small forward.
Lots of upside with our younger group.
Constable alluded to the same thing in an interview with Woodcock in the WEST.

We will possibly have the services of Koby Evans if WC pass on him and doesn’t get picked up. Missed a lot of footy with injuries so might be a blessing in disguise for him having a full year in the WAFL.
I liked the look of Roberts yesterday; he is big bodied for a youngster.
He seems to have some skills, I wonder if he could transition into a big-bodied midfielder?
