1st Semi Final. Claremont v Perth

Should be called Marron the way he clawed Constable all day.

Just finished the replay. I cant really add much to what anyone else said.

I thought Fleiner and Evans competed strongly as relative newbies. Roberts certainly did well to debut in a final. I thought it was strange that Parfitt was not in the guts as much as normal - still sick? I thought we would have been better starting Glass-McCasker back rather than forward.

I hate the constant hits in the chest Constable and Parfitt get. Maybe we have to do it back and harder though.

The mud heap suits Claremont and I suggest they see it this way and actually don’t want to do anything to change it.

The Claremont digs on the western side are fantastic and it’s a crying shame that they can’t put a proper set of toilets and a more comfortable and spacious area on the eastern side. The grassed hill is a good size though - maintain this.

The Perth support was again fantastic. Met Bob from Kalgoorlie who made the trip. Another top bloke and demon.

We have 10 excellent players. Eight of whom just need to maintain their standard and two of which (Scobes and Paton) can even improve more.

We have 12-13 very good young players all of which will improve.

I haven’t included Simpson or Derkson in the above.

I will be a better supporter next year, here’s to all the Perth people on here making an effort to do the same.

I din’t listen to sport fm tonight - any word on that coach thing I heard was to be announced tonight by Raponi?

You got a mention.

Dam I missed it. Will listen tomorrow. But any answer to my question?

No. You can listen to any of the shows within about half an hour after it’s finished I think.

I tried at 610 not there. Probably too quick. Well I definitely heard something was to be reported last week about a current WAFL finals coach - I am learning to be as patient as - is it Job?

It’s up now

Was raised with Jared Bell this morning. Apparently North Adelaide expressed interest in Mark Stone but he’s not going anywhere. He is contracted for another 2 years.

Thanks R&B. I was a little worried to be sure.

Watching the preliminary final today, I think I noticed the umpires asserting their authority over Claremont’s over-exuberant physicality with some early free kicks against them. Good to see but why couldn’t that have happened last week? At all?

Should always be the case, A blight on the game.

Depending on which stats you believe. On the EP side frees for 16, 26 against. On the Claremont side 26 for 12 against. So Claremont once again kissed on the cock by the umpires.

Someone needs to run through that Barron.
Not a Brayshaw fan, but like Constable last week, he got infringed at every stoppage.
And the jerk got away with it.
