Give it a rest STT. Perth are a Statewide joke.
Easy there Bazza…at least with Perth’s reserves in the GF, Optus will be definitely humming with 60K Perth fans by 0930…touch wood SD make the colts GF, then another 60K of SD fans will keep Optus humming till the league GF…who ever said footy in the Eastern Suburbs is dead…must of been off their tree…
[quote=“Falcon post=212688 userid=956”]Both STD and TIME FOR A FAG are just disgruntled jealous knobs that contribute little except hate.
On a brighter note Mark Hutchings and Luke Meadows will return next season to the nest, also Ben Johnson returns after being delisted from WC, Blacky suffered a PCL injury to his knee yesterday.
As far as the game yesterday goes, the boys had a crack but run out of steam, we finished 4th and nobody has ever won a flag from 4th, Subiaco will win the flag easy this year good on them.
Claremont in 1964 finished fourth after beating West Perth in the last home and away game. They went on to beat East Fremantle by 4 points in the Grand Final.

Funny you say that Freeze, I was thinking the same thing, Perth supporters will come out in droves to watch that and good on them, weather they hang around for the league who knows, it will boost the grand final numbers for sure

STD Dipsticks favorite saying,“We will be better next year”,hes been saying that since 1977.
I Think Falcon summed you up very well STD,KNOB.
Not sure what KNOB stands for to be honest. STD I get.
Bazza I’m sorry you sold out one year. But you did.

Maybe Screemar is back in a red n black disguise???
Given the issues you have suffered off field (no excuse for tho’) this has been a season to praise by your team. Other teams could learn from your ability to retain and develop (a capitol D) players from your own area, well done.

God forbid Perth ever become a power again, if your arrogant and demeaning now towards more successful clubs you’ll be nightmare should that happen ( I think were safe ).

yeah should be massive, apparently approaching sell out already.
Steady on you blokes. The crowds at the finals matches so far in fine weather have attracted what, 3 to 5000? Was about 4500 at Joondalup in our elimination final last year in atrocious conditions. Pissed down all day and a max of about 14 degrees. Beware the red and black army.
If only the dumb West Australian Football Commission had half a brain they would realise the negative effect on crowd numbers when the same teams are playing finals year in year out. Wake up you dopey cunts.
Agree. No way there was over 4000 people at Claremont oval at any one time on Sunday. At least 1000 there for PFC game.
I know Freezin was trying to be funny (key word: “trying”) but this notion that there is an army of P or SD or EF waiting to mobilise once their team makes a GF is just crap. It might attract slightly more interest from neutrals, and it might attract a few of the “oh, yeah, I used to be a Perth fan before the Eagles” brigade. But, the WAFL GF will never get a crowd over 25k. In any event, the point is moot since no team other than the usual suspects, plus maybe an aligned team now and then, is ever likely to make the GF. The inequalities in the WAFL are too deeply entrenched now to ever change, and no-one cares enough to do anything about it.
Ted, not sure what you mean about trying to be funny, that’s STT forte mate, just merely sarcastically regurgitating what you Perth boys have said in the past about having a shed load of fans - ready to mobilize - and how good it would be to have an Eastern Suburbs GF with all those many passionate SD and Perth fans - apparently the most out of all the WAFL clubs…hopefully the 0930 start won’t deter you Perth boys from turning out in your many, many numbers, as for us EF fans - fark mate we are living the dream in our big houses with water views, watching the GF on our 292 inch TV screens…
I don’t know about you Freezin but if Hawthorn was still dominating the AFL and it was a Geelong v Hawthorn GF in Perth I wouldn’t have bothered logging online at Ticketmaster trying to get a ticket. I went to the Geelong GWS final hoping to see a GWS victory. Sadly it was not.
It’s human nature, the only people who want see the same team or teams enjoy sustained success are those who follow them. But it is unhealthy and damaging for the competition. If nothing changes it will be the death of this competition.
Teds spot on and that’s exactly how I see it as well.
All jokes aside, if the Perth fans can fill up Optus, as well as the SD fans, if their colts boys get through, then surely that would be a plus for both grades and the WAFL, whether they stay for the main game is another question…be great if they did to fill out the seats…

Who’s joking Freezin? It is a fact, people lose interest if it’s the same old same old participating in finals year in year out. It goes to show how dumb the WA football commission are. Show some respect and intelligence instead of trying to take the piss, that gets boring after a while.
