Team showing same amount of heart on the field as their finance committee does off the field.
To blow a 25 point lead against Claremont. Gee.

Another great call by the SportFM crew. West Perth losing Black early in the final term and their ruck tiring was the turning point. The breeze wouldn’t have played a huge factor.
Massive choke by these front running debt dodgers. Can someone explain to me why the media keeps patting this mob on the back with plaudits every week? Again today Micale and Mitsy praising WP’s courage. FMD, they blew a 25 point lead late in the 3rd qtr and allowed Claremont to kick 8 of the last 9 goals.
Oh Aaron Black injured his knee late in the game. Good luck trying to play finals with 22 plus injuries. I stopped counting after 22. Even umpires pet
Jye Bolton was conceding free kicks to A. Black.
Yeah pretty disappointing fade out in the end by WP they looked the goods in the third.
in the end both games this weekend produced predicable results with not a lot of excitement.
Your all heart you blokes cheers ?

not a lot of excitement? I thought the south’s v Subi game was a high skilled cracking fast paced game. And there seemed to be plenty of excitement at today’s game.
Watching it as a neutral I thought it was a great game and there seemed to be a lively atmosphere at Claremont looking at it on the TV. I thought the 4 goal margin flattered the Tigers. If Kernutt had slotted an easy kick for goal at the 20 minute mark it would have brought the game back to a 1 point margin and who knows what might have happened after that. As it was Claremont had just that little bit more in the tank after WP lost Black at a crucial time. Well done to both teams and I reckon that Claremont have every chance of reversing last weeks result and making the Grand Final as South Freo are not really firing at the moment. They are certainly due a win against them. Jai Bolton’s 60 metre goal which wrapped up the victory today was outstanding considering how tired his legs must have been by that stage. Reminded me of a similar one he kicked a few years ago at Bassendean after the siren to snatch a win v Swans. What a player he is at this level.
WP will always been known as a loser club now by real supporters, at least until the WAFC insists on getting to the bottom of what happened to the money and, if appropriate, penalises them.
The whole thing stinks. WP will never wash the stench off.
They could make us all shut up with what they do on field but they don’t. They get into finals on the back of having a pretty good zone. Then they go out, normally in an embarrassing fashion. As they did again today.
So yes what do they have to be proud of exactly. Not paying Mums and Dads? Keeping it all hush hush? Never doing their time? Being also rans every year? Going to Joondalup and becoming the Falcons for three or four flags?
Nope bit of a joke the old west Perth.

South were never in it all day, Sundays game had potential to be a thriller and ended in a wimper as WP collapsed in a heap as Claremont piled on goals in a cake walk.

I agree with you on the financials, utterly disgraceful.
WP were actually far more succesful on and off the field at Leederville over their long journey despite the 80s slump.

Claremont Oval holds more than you think, looked like plenty of room around the outter fence still could been filled despite, it being over 4000.
Yep Claremont are a real chance this week.
Wonder how many will turn up day after AFL GF in Perth?

Bond, STD was bagging Claremont as chockers before the game, now his puerile tirades are directed at Joondy for “chocking”. As I said previously, to choke in a final, you have to actually play in a final, something he hasn’t and probably never will experience … apart from last years compromised season which doesn’t really count.
Both STD and TIME FOR A FAG are just disgruntled jealous knobs that contribute little except hate.
On a brighter note Mark Hutchings and Luke Meadows will return next season to the nest, also Ben Johnson returns after being delisted from WC, Blacky suffered a PCL injury to his knee yesterday.
As far as the game yesterday goes, the boys had a crack but run out of steam, we finished 4th and nobody has ever won a flag from 4th, Subiaco will win the flag easy this year good on them.
Good news that you’ll get those lads back and they will play WAFL. Also better news for Black that it’s not and ACL, he should be up and about ready for 2022. Most up at Joondy would have been holding their breath when he crawled of the ground.
One thing I’ve noticed in all the finals to date is the physical intensity by all sides, the tackling has been awesome by all concerned. Such a breath of fresh air to see such hard contested footy after some of the almost “touch footy” we see at AFL.
Kane Mitchell needs to start behaving himself. He fired up Kitchin earlier in the year and they both finished up with a holiday and he came very close to the mark again yesterday. Black showed his class by not retaliating but others might not have the same discipline and it could be on for young and old.
Have to say STD is one of the more bizarre posters on here, if I supported a club as bad as Perth, I would be far to embarrassed to take low rank and highly suspect pot shoots are more successful clubs.
Ok just so everyone knows:
PFC are terrible on field. The ways in which this can be expressed are endless but….
We know it and don’t pretend different unlike the WP perennial underachievers.
We have never gone broke, again unlike WP. Their financial disgrace will NEVER be forgotten. NEVER.
We have never ceded control of our football department to an AFL club like East Perth, South Fremantle and Claremont.
Again these things will NEVER be forgotten.
So you know, we are crap but I’m still pretty happy all in all.
Ps - lucky for you you’ve got the chokers this week Bazza.
