I’m in agreement also don’t like the way it was done it I’m quite angry about it. But you must have balance the club is largely afloat due to Bronte, I think that is a given. I choose to support the club no matter what because administrators and players come and go supporters should never turn on their club. I will ride it out and see what happens good or most probably bad but I will never be a turncoat.

Bronte may well have saved East Perth in the past. Unequivocally he has destroyed East Perth now.

East Perth are just a ghost club, they wil win the flag next year and dominate - but what will it be worth?
I still believe that the two AFL clubs thought and still do that having their own teams in the WAFL would benefit both them and the WAFL.But only my opinion.
Did it have an impact!!!A bit early to be asking that Swan.We will have to wait a while I think.
I agree EP the proud football club does not exist while the alignment exists. Will we back stand alone one day in the near future in a sound financial position, possibly. Will the competition still be worth being in probably not. The WAFL is almost dead and in worse position than people think. Perhaps that is why the WAFL presidents tried to turn the screws for more cash.
to actually hope your side does not win the flag is just a horrible position to put your supporters in. I cant really describe the feeling. incredibly strange.
not all EP people will brave up to that, but there is no way in hell anyone worth their salt could get 100% satisfaction from the impending imbalance.
the points cap has to be scrapped. EP & Peel will not be able to abide by it, and in a competition sense that is just one part of the unfairness. Time to scrap it completely for the non aligned clubs.
A small part of my wife’s family have been EP supporters forever. Now they are over the moon and in raptures. They’re already crowing about the flags that are ahead of them over the next few years. Blind pricks, but I’m sure there’s plenty of EP people out there that feel the same, hence support of this ‘club’ will continue and grow methinks.
And in actual fact the FITZROY Footy Club still exists today - in 4th Grade amateurs in Suburban Melbourne … they have the older style heritage jumper and Dyson Hore-Lacey is involved heavily
Huge local support I believe , the old diehards attend these games rather than support Brisbane
Should have 14 powerhouse afl teams playing the other 13 teams twice for a 26 round comp and state leagues being the sort of strength they were in wa and sa before this extended vfl.
