Wardman quits

Effective immediately

Big news. Nice Guy. Hope he gets a good send off.

Wonder what bought this about. Or has he been given the shove?

I think maybe he was told he won’t be in the position after this year and took the high jump.

Not sure, but in my mind it is a step in the right direction as clearly he’s not resonating with the players after some of the performances this year.

I also suggest the footy department needs to be put under scrutiny as well as our list management hasn’t been all that great for the last several years.

Clearly the club has had enough of being down the bottom of the ladder. I also can’t figure out why Savigni our best defender was left out the other week and then we got rolled by West Coast. Maybe that was the last straw.

Didn’t he have a year left on his contract? I wonder what happened there. Subi are not exactly raking it in.

$ubi has run out of money.

Maybe so flagster, but last time I looked Subi has 9 premiership cups over the last 20 years in the cabinet with another 2 stolen from us thanks to the WAFC and Perth has how many? If you’re wracking your brain trying to figure it out I’ll save you the time…fuck all.

WOW BC you are a genius.
I wouldn’t brag about those flags with all your flaunting of salary rules.
Now you have no mouthpiece to the Umpires.

That’s pretty funny DF given Subi is one of the few clubs not to have been sanctioned for breaking the salary cap rules. Does Chris Bossong ring a bell DF?

I wish we did have a mouthpiece to the umps as Subi traditionally has been the club most penalised in free kicks counts but in any case, not sure what your comments are supposed to infer and clearly neither do you.

Surely you still have a couple of mill in the bank? 1.5?

Clearly you should be on the comedian tour BC.
You are funny.

Just because you find ways around it BC doesn’t make it morally right. Ben Cousins never went positive on a drugs test either but copped 16 weeks.

I suppose the obvious question being who steps into the coaches box for the remaining qualifying matches?

Nigel Hamilton

Monaghan or Horsley to be the next coach?

It’s going to be interesting to see who Subi get. He has a job on his hands. Just looking at the reserves getting walloped by Claremont.

Pretty flat day all-round at Claremont. Not sure why the reserves were unable to score a goal for the entire game.

We missed borchett in the league. Nigel seemed comfortable as coach. We’re not the same team as when we beat east Perth and the Sharks.

That’s life. That’s Sanyo.

What we saw today is probably one of the reasons why Wardman walked. Claremont were visibly bigger, stronger, fitter and faster than we were.

They were pretty much the side Subi was during the 2014 to 2019 period where we intimidated everyone else with our physicality and presence. That’s one of the things Wardman has done is let standards slip from the highs of Germo initially, then Schoey who took us to another level.

I hope the next coach looks at vision of the teams and ingrained standards we had back then and works to get us back to the glory days as today was totally unacceptable.

No criticism of the players as guys like Golding, Bartlett, Berenger, Robbins just aren’t league standard and today it showed.

Hope the Subi crowds don’t fall away even more

BC my friend, I can tell you that the coach was sacked. I can’t reveal my source because I’ll get my balls cut out. Let’s leave it at that.
