Wardman quits

Who’s on top of your wishlist of coaches to take over? I imagine Schofield and Horsley but can you entice them out of their cushy AFL gigs?

Ken Hinkley is free in a few weeks RnB, but we’ve got as much chance of getting him as we do Horse or Schoey. To be honest, I’m not sure but hopefully someone with footy playing credentials and not an ex-umpire.

Yep, no surprises there Winger old son. You blokes can have him if you like.

Wardman was arseholed 100%. We need an experienced coach with credentials obviously. Hopefully we have learnt through history not to fuck around here, hey how old is Bunts

As BC said Wardman wasn’t the only one responsible for turning us from diamonds to dust in a matter of a few years, the list management have to go, if not they would be advised to start scouring the land because we have got fa coming through going on todays reserves embarrassment, colts weren’t much better, only losing by 72…ffs what a dark day.

Lockyer and Foley are gone for the year, so not much chance of seeing Lockyer again I would say

How can you say 2 flags stolen from Subi BC? You don’t know if they would have beaten another g finalist.

That’s true Sharky, but based on what actually played out in 2016 Subi lost 4 games all year whilst FART finished 4th 5 games behind. The WAFC parachuted in 17 Freo players, the free kick count was 19 to 6 and the rest is history.

2017 was even worse as we lost 1 game all year and finished a massive 7 games ahead of FART and still missed out. Who knows what may have happened if the WAFC hadn’t manipulated the result but based on history, we were robbed as were the other teams finishing in the top 5 as they never even got a chance to make the GF.

eventually someone at the club will have to mandate a thorough investment in the local zones the club is allocated
then you top up the list
otherwise stand by for lots of barren years forthcoming

Some names being bandied around for new coach include Chris Mayne, Nick Suban and Steven Armstrong

You’ve made a very good argument there BC, maybe you’re right, but we’ll never know. Stranger things happen on that September day. I guess it’s another example of what can happen when they let the AFL players get involved. Second time in the last 25 years and we don’t asterisk these false “flags”.
