WAFL 2026 In's and Outs's

Coen Livingstone has just signed with the Falcons.

Ohhh!

What a B*gger!

Wonder why he didn’t hook up with us again?

:open_mouth:

Likely because he wouldn’t haven’t gotten a game. I had heard EF were chasing him- but he’s well behind McGuire and Strnadica. WP have added a few - going all in- good on them

KC, not sure Livingstone gets a gig a WP…he isn’t a natural ruckman…and with Keitel and Jones up front, not sure he is going to get a forward gig…I would rather EF get games into Cooper Ramsay(200+cm) and Josh Nomlatyu (198cm) TBH mate…both were in the 18’s squad, Ramsay was unlucky with injury this year, whilst Nomlatyu played some good footy in the ruck and up front front EF colts this year…quite surprised EF would even be interested in Livingstone.

WP, Swans and Subiaco are all recruiting heavily. I think it could be a very even competition next year. Even WCE will be stronger. Peel are harder to judge, they have recruited some decent players but have lost Brodie, Narkle and Reidy. A like for like maybe with Cox coming in.

Would have thought Subi or Swans would have been a better fit.

KC surely you are getting Teakle back?

Are Korda Mentha still writing the cheques for Joondy? Will we get more than 4 cents in the dollar for the transfer fee?

Are EF go to recruit any more players or just sit around doing nothing surely Woewodin has contacts

Any news on Jasper Scaife after being delisted?

I thought I read somewhere he has decided to stay in Melbourne playing VFL I assume hoping more eyes on him over there.

Because he probably wouldn’t get a League game.

Welcome PS, from going off that recent EF podcast ā€œShark Talesā€. Woewodin said a lot depended post draft on recruits…that could mean Teakle and Woewodin jnr, though I do know EF like other clubs, have been in the mix for a few already announced recruits… money talks I reckon, which EF have very little of right now, from all reports.

Check out the EF list on the wafl.com.au site…a few new names there, just not yet publicly announced - ex Norwood KPF, ex Brisbane VFL defender and ex Sydney VFL mid…all 22 - 25 age range. Though EF hopefully will be putting faith in the likes of Carrello, McManus, Summerell, Grylls, Ramsay and Nomlatyu, who all missed out at the draft, and were part of that EF colts squad that finished equal top on pts with SF this year.

EF willbe looking for further development from young talls in Vladich up front, and Austin up back. Ex Ess player Oskar Smartt replaces Hagan, though Zadow now trialling with Port, so that will hurt if he goes.

Rioli is still a chance to come. Will depend on his finish to the Territory season.Club still talking to hih.
Also another past player is a 50/50 chanc to return in 2026.

Caaarrrnn Tiwi Bombers!
