V Tassie

Tassie 6/197. Gannon picked up four so far. 4/45 off 16. Richardson 0/ 15 off 13.
Couch 2/61 0ff 12.

Got a Wicket straight after Tea!

Fantastic!

Tassie all out for 239.

WA 3-39. Whiteman out 1st ball, Fanning-18 and Cartwright-2.
Bancroft no 10, Hardie no 9.

5/64 at stumps including Wyllie who had his poles knocked over on the last ball of the day.
The shitshow with the bat in red ball cricket continues on.
What is this 2 or 3 seasons in a row now?

As Frail as ever,Mate.

Though I believe it’s just 2 years.

Funny how there are questions asked of the MCG pitch in the media where 17 wickets fell and nothing of the Perth wicket where 15 wickets fell.

Just looking at the bonus points for the shield table - WA is so far behind the rest of the states for batting points its a joke

In over 45 years of watching WA cricket I have never seen our batting stocks as low as currently.
Some of our bowlers look like they have better techniques than our batsmen?
Who is the batting coach down there at the WACA?

The Assistant Coaches are Tim Macdonald and Beau Casson
The Development Coaches are Travis Birt and Michael Marshall

DREADFULL,PATHETIC,WOEFULLY BAD!

Thank heavens I don’t have to watch it!

Seeing Wickets Tumble upon each Scorecheck is BAD ENOUGH!

9-153. The last pair Corey Rocchiccioli and Brody Crouch have so far put on a partnership of 51. The largest of the innings.

53,then sure enough,Corey put one in the Air and he’s Out!

todays 155 was the 5th time this season that the team has failed to reach 200 in a completed innings. Very poor and someone needs to be accountable for these consistent failures. Tasmania can now bat for a day or more if they can and set a impossible target. Season definitely done now if it wasnt before this latest farce

You do lnow mikeh, that WA will win this match now, and most likely the whole comp…lol…sport is a funny ole beast at times…the best or worst of times.

Has to be some questions about how a kid like Teague Wiley, lauded as a super star of the future a few years back, can go to where he is now.
Cartwright.. only asking because I don’t know, but when was the last time he scored big!
Aaron Hardie!!!He is a lot of hit and miss this season, A slow BBL start, but picked up.

We need to go find a consistent mature batsman like a Michael Klinger from a decade or so back who can steady the ship when we are in trouble (which seems to be every innings of late).
The experienced batsmen we have Whiteman, Bancroft & Cartwright (all 34yo this year) are horribly out of form and have been for a while, to be honest a hard call has to be made on this trio now.
Goodwin, Fanning & Wyllie should be given the rest of the season to show their wares instead of playing 1 game and than getting dropped and being made the scapegoat for the batting order debacles!
Not sure why Turner wasnt picked for this game, at least he is an experienced leader and in reasonable knick albeit in white ball stuff?!

I suppose anything is possible Freezin until it mathematically isnt but you wouldn’t want to gamble your house on this shaky WA batting line up. As BH says the 3 senior players are all past it so time to move on and rebuild. Where is Goodwin in this game?

Looks like WA are letting the game slip away with resistances coming from Webster and Doran.
From 5 for less than a 100 to 5/150.
Slip sliding away.

Well, putting the head down for good batting to get 300 in 2 days, let alone 1 lousy day,is beyond them!

Maybe,….

Trailing by 261 runs.Close of play I would suggest.

yes while Goodwin hasn’t scored a century this season i don’t think to many batsman have he at least had made some reasonable scores and should be persisted with
