Anchor, Cartwright was WA’s leading run scorer in 2024/25…850 odd runs @ 57…was 2nd overall behind Weatherald in Sheffield Shield runs scored…but struggling this year…Whiteman and Bancroft sadly have done nothing since WA’s SS 3peat…but Voges is way too loyal…but then again both were integral to the 3peat…so one can understand why…but definitely come back and bitten Voges and WA on the arse, that’s for sure.
I think the Captain, once the Shield and Marsh Cup has finished, should get prepared for his Country Contract and tough out a Pre-Season in the Lancashire League, where Batting conditions surely are testing in moist, windy conditions and the ball is swinging all over the place,…..
Thanks for your services,Sam.
a real sad limp display
yet again Whiteman , Bancroft & Wyllie openly indicating just how much they aren’t up to the standard of Sheffield Shield cricket
There has to be an inquisition and reform into the state of performances after this season
there’s talent but it isn’t being coached or managed at all
0/112 ,chasing 233for a win.Bangas 70 no, Whiteman 38no.
Day three . A chance for a win!!!
Tea time.
2/143 Banga out ,74.
Whiteman 55no.
Cartwright is cooked!
Carrwright has fallen from that 850 run season last year mighty fast BH…too many passengers…is there any talent in Perth Premier grade to replace the likes of Cartwright, Bancroft, Whiteman et al?..not from the WACA Premier scorecards I see most weeks…
Freeze he is so out of form its not funny.
Took 20 odd balls to get off the mark and then plays a dogshit big bash shot straight down the throat of the only fielder in the deep when his side needed a mature long innings.
He should be done now!
Does anyone else think that maybe we are tending to forget that the batting line-up is missing, Cameron Green, Cooper Connolly, Mitch Marsh, Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis?
Stoinis & Marsh are pretty much retired from red ball cricket.
bizarre
first time in years there was a positive start
but as per many times Bancroft just hands it away
and then the procession begins
maybe a shining light Wyllie lasted more than 20 balls
that 148 looks like 348 with the way our batting has been
Can the WA bots knuckle down and get the runs, with a patient but positive display of Batting?
Be a nice shot in the arm confidence wise!
6 - 226 after Wyllie and Curtis’ Dismissals.
Can the tail lend Aaron Hardie a helping hand,to land the Win?
Curtis sadly is another one who has fallen off…Voges despite his obvious success, will leave WA red ball cricket in a mess at the end of the season…too loyal to his veteran comrades…and I would hate to be the one who has to clean up the mess…
The End is nigh.
Roccaciolli RUN OUT!
8/258
WA lost the game on day 2 when they got bowled out for 150, about 100 below par. A 4th innings chase of 250 - 270 would have been a different proposition. Very disappointing end to what has been a very successful tenure for Voges
Tasmania Won by 22 runs.
We’re ROCK BOTTOM!
Oh well,at least Cricket Australia,…sorry New South Wales are next to last, after the good 'ole Sydney Rain b*ggered them up today!

Or perhaps that last wicket stand of 60 between Doran and Stanlake mikeh?..but agree WA first innings total of below 200 came back to bite…and hard…bowlers can only do so much I guess…with ball…and bat.
