U.S. elections

Well here we go again!
People go to the polls in the first week of Nov twenty 24 over there and the mud slinging has already started. Going to be a repeat of the previous election. Trump not overly concerned with the current court proceedings and has strong suport. Biden’s popularity is currently under 40% and he’d need it higher and quickly. Still a lot of water to go under the bridge between now and November, so anything could happen I guess.

Trump, then Vivek x two terms. USA all the way.

Looney left should have lost anyone with a observant mind.

Go Trumpy. Make America great again and weave your magic to help pull the heads in of the worlds despots wreaking havoc on the world economy and slaughtering thousands of lives. America’s only hope of turning things around but the crooked left wing loony tunes want to lock the only man up capable of firing up the economy, getting rid of illegals and throwing out those who don’t fit in with democratic western values which we should be doing here.

Only potential world leader capable of brokering peace. Joe said it himself, virtually admitting he really doesn’t want to serve another term because he’s barely going to make it over the line in his first 4 years, but says he’ll run again to try and stop Trump.

How can anyone with half a brain accept Biden as their President? Ive seen drugged fucked homeless people make more sense than him. How can the so called leader of the free world be a bloke who has no idea where he is?

Early results coming in from Iowa.
All the other Republican nominations should pull out now.Its Trump by plenty.
Not one county vote under 80% for President Trump.
It doesn’t sound like DJT will be running a Woke agenda,LMAO..

I don’t disagree there McBob but the last election was more a vote against Trump than a vote for Biden. 80 million yanks couldn’t stand his yellowness whereas only 74 million could. In saying that, the Dems need to find an alternative and Biden should ride off into the sunset before he does any more damage.

Or another way of putting it BC, 74 million couldn’t stand Biden. Look how many have done a runner afraid of facing another election after being in power during Covid in Australia. They read the tea leaves so did Adern in NZ.

I think populations suffered from fatigue post Covid and were looking for change instead of the voice they had to listen to everyday during Covid. Trump said some dumb things during Covid and he probably wasn’t expecting a pandemic during his first term in office.

If there wasn’t a pandemic I reckon he would have romped in a second term. I’m more worried about him taking classified documents from the White House than accusations he incited people to storm Capitol Hill. That’s a more difficult one to prove he was responsible, but he certainly was responsible for taking hundreds of classified top secret documents from the White House.

If he beats those charges I think he shits it in by a country mile to serve a second term.

By the way has this ever happened before in US election history? Presidents only serving one term, then possibly two consecutive presidents serving just one term and cherry on top a President getting voted out after one term term then coming back to serve another term?

Could be history in the making.

Which ever one looks at the situation, the yanks are cooked. I think Biden has done his dash and the alternative is not the best choice! Having said that if DT has learnt lessons from last time, maybe he possibly would be ok. He still has too many question marks hanging over him for mine! Some of his businesses not going well either. If the first primary vote is anything to go by from yesterday, old Biden may as well pack up now. Or step aside and allow deputy Harris to take over. They might have a chance with her.

DD my understanding is that a president can do a max of 2 terms (8 years), either consecutively or in two separated lots, as may be the case for Trumpet. The only time that was changed I think was for FDR during the great depression and into WW2 when they needed stability and the costs of an election would have been unsustainable at the time. Not sure how they got around the constitutional issues, but they did, probably chucked in an amendment to suit the situation.

Yep well let’s say Trump beats the Democrat lynch mob in the courts who know if he is allowed to run he wins.

We will see 3 consecutive single terms of US presidency. Pretty sure that will be unprecedented if it pans out that way. But there could be a wild card that might see Trump, if he gets up, serve more than one more term. WWIII.

The way things are going that’s not out of the question.

Just astounding Trump is still in the race.

The US really is an odd place.

Spot on BS.

Biden is just not up to another 4 years, to me he was just a stop gap to get rid of Trump which worked the economy is actually going better than expected going forward he needs to stand down, the Dems just need to come up with a half decent candidate and they should be fine, Biden is not that person. Newsom Gov of California seems best bet to me,

On the GOP side De Santis is the best option but sadly miles behind Haley needs to withdraw and endorse him- I like a lot about him. As for the Orange mafia figure best place for him is the Fed Pen.

Have you seen the state of California Bazza.

Good people can’t get out fast enough. Drug addled zombies taking their place.

Newsom has run the place into the ground.

where on earth are you getting your feeds from.

cnn an nbc?

Didn’t say I agree with his policies, but seems a far more likely chance of success over Dean Phillips and Williamson , He wont win mid west but then none of them will.

Another creditable news source is Fox “conspiracy” News, who broke the Hugo Chavez dominion voting machine theory, which unfortunately cost them a 780 million defamation payout, and are ably led by Trump lapdogs,Sean “sig heil”Hannity and Laura “Eva Braun”Ingraham, who are more than willing to spread the Fuhrer’s gospel.

Fox “news” is an absolute disgrace, once a comedy hour but now as we have seen a serious threat to democracy with wacko conspiracy theories for the feeble minded.

Yes Fox bad too and Hannity aweful.

ABC, the guardian and the BBC all trash for news as well.

Tucker Carlson and Bolt make since to me.

I know that they have their haters. But I generally agree with 90 % of what they both say. Rita Phani good fun too.

I reckon I get most news off Twitter though.

DeSantis has withdrawn from the race and has endorsed Trump. Huge.

De Santis will have to wait another 4 years. He will be back.

Tucker Carlson - makes sense? He even admitted his show is a joke.

Bolt is sort of OK,

As for Guardian and ABC forget it, don’t mind BBC for world news.

Yes, Twitter is good for immediate up dates, you get stuff very early on it.
